SMOOTH OPERATOR- TOM K.
Tom Kaulitz x chola!reader
in which you and a group of friends walk into a convince store in LA only for you to end up crushing on the German boy buying beer and candy.
Nattie speaks: I came up with this while listening to music hehehehe. I was also torn between braids or dreads but ultimately I chose braids🤞
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
TOM SHUFFLED ACROSS the aisle of the gas station, eyes wandering across the variety of candy and occasionally glancing down at the crumpled up paper in his hand, scribbles of what everyone wanted hardly readable. He wasn’t familiar of the area, only being in LA for a few days for the tour but he was still sent off to find all the necessity’s to survive in the hotel a little longer. His black glasses were shoved up onto his hat, braids swinging down his back with each step while also pulling his baggy pants up. His hands were full of chips, candy, cookies, now his vision was directed towards the back freezers were the beer was stored.
Off in the distance he could hear a faint buzz, a booming sound of music being heard from a mile away and it only got closer. The lyrics of a Tupac song echoed into the store, a mixture of boys and girls stumbling in loudly. The one holding stereo grinned innocently, lowering down the music as the clerk behind the counter glared at him. Two girls trailed in after, you and your best friend, Alejandra, pinkies interlocked as you whispered about some teen pregnancy that happened downtown.
“Hurry up, or I ain’t getting you nothin’.” Your brother, Manuel, demanded, heading towards the food. His hair was slicked back, far too much gel layed on his dark locks to stick it in place.
The two of you headed down to the back, immediately searching for the cold drinks, you sharp eyes looked around the glass doors of different beverages. You gasped suddenly, wrapping your fingers around the metal handle of the door and pulling it open. A fresh breeze blew onto your body, contrasting against the hot sun that beamed brightly just outside. “Damn, Jandra!” Your friend jogged by you with curious eyes. “They released a sandía version of the Arizona Teas!” A big grin filled your face, grabbing the red tin can.
“Shiit.” Alejandra smiled, “Alright, you get the sandía and I get the mango, just so we got options.” You nodded, closing the door as someone walked behind you. You looked over your shoulder instinctively, catching sight of a tall boy, adorned in baggy clothing, a bandana wrapped along his hairline and long cornrows.
Tom had also taken notice of you the moment you stepped into the store, he turned to catch a better look but was met with your own eyes. For a moment, time slowed, both of gazed kept on each other, waiting for the other to look away. In the end, his eyes were lost behind a shelf, but you could see the way his lips quirked up into a smirk before he walked into the chip aisle.
You nudged Alejandra, removing her attention from the kids juice box section. You subtly nodded over to the boy who stood a few feet away, grabbing a bag of salty snacks. “He’s cute.” You whispered, Alejandra nodded in agreement smiling over at you knowingly. “Should ask I for his number?”
“Do it.” The girl giggled, revealing her pearly teeth that were caged behind a pair of braces. But, before you could walk over he began to make his way to the front, breezing past your brother and his group of friends who were going ham on the condiments. You huffed, walking by your brother to get a better look at him but still keeping it nonchalant. Your hands were inching towards a bag of Hot Cheetos, you brother loudly chewed on his hotdog, you stared over at him with a disgusted face. Alejandra opened up a bag of hot Cheetos, filling it up with cheese from the nacho section. You joined her, doing the same till your ear picked up a brewing commotion.
“In the United States you need to be 21 to buy beer.” The old clerk lectured, angrily glaring at the boy in front of him, a ID slipped on the counter that showed all of the mysterious cute boys information.
“But I am 19,” He pointed at the date of birth stated on the card, “that’s legal everywhere else, just let me have them.” The boy argued back, a thick accent in the back of his throat while he flailed his arms angrily.
“But we’re not anywhere else, we’re in the United States, it’s the law, kid.” The braid-haired boy groaned, taking back his ID and leaving behind the pack of beers, cursing under his breath in german. At that point the commotion had caught the attention of all the group. You stared as he stomped out the store, bag full of other snacks in his hands. Your brother and his friends snickered amongst eachother, you shoved his shoulder with a stern look.
“Yo, do him a solid and get them.” You muttered, your brother stared down at you, expression laid back and careless like usual, but he raised a brow.
“You gon’ pay for it o que?” (Or what) He questioned, “Cuz, I’m already payin’ for whatever you and Jandra got there, I ain’t spending my money on nothin’ more.”
You rolled your eyes, stuffing your hands into your pocket and pulling out the last bit of cash you had on you, placing it in his open palm. He smirked smugly, walking to get a pack before making his way upfront, the things got paid for, the cashier asking the same questions of did you find everything okay? as always, though his miserable tone was pitiful. As soon as you and the group stepped out the store, your brothers friend cranked up the volume on the stereo again, the song blasting from the speaker. From a distance you could see the same boy, leaned up against the ice machine, his snacks still in hand while the other held a cigarette between his fingers. His dark glasses protecting his eyes from the lowering sun.
Alejandra smiled at you, passing the pack of cold beers before cheering you on silently. You looked back at her before jogging over to the tall boy. “Yo, got these for you.” For a moment he just stared at you confusingly, cigarette burning down as the seconds ticked by. “I saw what happened in there, but don’t worry, we always got each others backs here in LA.”
You’d begun to think that maybe he didn’t understand you, he did have a thick, foreign accent while speaking earlier which made you assume that he may have a limited English vocabulary. You weren’t sure, but it made you nervous and awkwardly shuffle from side to side. But finally, he dropped the cigarette, crushing it under his shoes and lifting his sunglasses from his enchanting irises. He grabbed the pack, a smirk on forming on his pierced lips. “Thank you, beautiful, what’s your name?”
You liked his confidence, the nickname immediately making your smile and lean your head to the side flirtatiously. “Y/n, and you?”
“Tom.” He replied swiftly, eyes examining your body. The tight white tank top that hugged your skin, the baggy Dickies that belong to your brother hung low on your waist being kept up by a black belt, your ears gleaming with large silver hoops. You had a few tattoos scattered across the exposed skin he could see, your eyebrows were thinly drawn on, lips lined with a dark shade of brown. He liked you, adored your style. “You’re gorgeous.”
“Thanks.” You bit your lip, looking up at him through your lashes. “You fine as hell too, that’s why I wanted to ask for your number.”
“Yeah?” Tom lowly questioned, his shit-eating smirk only getting bigger. “Well you’ve got it, gorgeous.” He set down the beers, reaching for his phone in his deep pockets. You exchanged numbers, conversing a little longer, pulling all the flirty comments you could think of. You got him to chuckle a few times before he revealed that he was in town with his band.
“I like your glasses.” You hands reached forward, grabbing them from his head and placing them on your face. “Damn, these nice as fuck.”
He chuckled softly, staring at you. “Keep them.” You looked over at him, lowering the glasses to make sure that he meant it and wasn’t playing with you. “Gives me a reason to see your pretty face again.”
“Damn.” You stared at him happily before a loud horn blasted from behind you, you rolled your eyes, glancing back to see your brother looking back at you from red the low-rider car seat. “I gotta go, but call me guapo.” You smirked, waving your hand before walking towards the car. Alejandra smirked as she saw your happy express when you hopped in the open-roofed car. Tom eyes never left you as the car pulled away from the gas station and sped down the road, the whole vehicle vibrating as a rap song shrieked out the speakers.
“Who was that vato you were talkin’ to?” Manuel questioned, looking back at you from the rear-view mirror with a raised brow.
“None of ya’ business, mitotero.” You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms, head turning to stare out into the road, the harsh wind whipping through your hair. Alejandra smirked, leaning in closer to your ear.
“So, did you get it?” Your friend watched as your lips twitched, teeth coming out to bite back the grin that threatened to show. She giggled, shaking your body lightly. “Ohh, girl, you got that look of looove.”
“He fine as hell but love is a little much.” You replied, looking over at her with a mischievous smile. “He gave him his glasses, though.” You pull them from your head and passed them to her as she gawked at them.
“A la madre, this is some of that nice shit.” She examined it closely, staring at the Ray-ban logo printed on the side. Just then you felt a buzz on your thigh, you looked down at the phone as it lit up with a notification, an unknown number texted you. Immediately you opened it and smiled, Tom had texted you, a flirty greeting topped with a winky face. “I assume it your man textin’?”
“Cállate.” You turn your phone off, stuffing it in the side pocket of your pants. The text was only the first of many, Tom taking more interest in you the longer you talked, it wasn’t long till he’d taken you to his hotel room.
Tumblr media
“Shit, fool.” You mumbled, tightening the belt around your waist as Tom chuckled, being the only audience member of your fashion show, aka you trying on his stupidly baggy clothes. “How so you wear this stuff everyday.”
He shrugged, throwing his hands up slightly. “I am a big man, I need big clothes.”
“No shit.” You scoffed, turning towards the mirror and staring at the huge shirt that looked more like a dress. “Should I wear this to the carne asada?”
“I think you should wear nothing, you’re sexier that way.” The Kaulitz boy smirked, doing that thing where he fiddled with the black piercing on his lip. You rolled your eyes and walked back into the closet, ignoring his comments as you dug through more of his clothes. In a few hours you and Tom would have to arrive at your tíos carne asada, Tom being requested to join by non other then your mother.
Tom was already dressed and splayed out on the seat, just watching as you struggled to find something, which why you ended digging through his clothes. It took an half hour before you came out satisfied, grinning widely as you put on your silver hoops.
The real problem came the moment you stepped in the backyard, your tíos home full of guest that you knew and some you didn’t. Either way a handful of them came up to with same comments how old you looked and how big you’ve gotten. Manuel came up with his little gang that constantly followed him around, it took him the longest to get sue to Tom. Though, it wasn’t long before your brother and Tom became friends.
“Wassup, ese.” Manuel he held a corona beer in his hand, using his free one to grab clap against Tom’s and bring him in for a swift chest bump. Then you ran into your mother, her expression going from a stern glare to a huge smile. Everything had went smooth so far, you were happy to be there, until a familiar voice squealed from behind you.
“Tomas! Mi Niño, mira que guapo té vez!” Your mother chanted, bringing him into a tight hug and planting her calloused hands on his cheek, he smiled shyly at her affection. The boy had grown to be a favorite, his charisma and cute looks making him popular with the tías.
“Mama, he just got here from Germany a couple days ago, está cansado, we just gonna sit and chill.” You attempted to reason with the woman, staring at your boyfriend apologetically. But you’d only made the situation worse, she gasped dramatically, looking back at the boy and ushering him to a table. She’s explained everything to all of the tías, which lead to him being taken care of for most of the night. He was constantly being checked up on, being handed plates of food, being talked to about the latest scandal of the neighborhood, it left you sitting with Alejandra, on the other side of the backyard.
“Que tienes, amiga?” The dark haired girl questioned, staring at your frowning face and squinted eyes. She could practically feel the heat of annoyance radiating of you.
“They took my fucking man!”

Wrapped Around Your Finger - Part 0.5
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Series Masterlist | Original Fic
➪in which you are days away from starting your program and anakin gets used to tour life without you by befriending the sometimes overly-flirty photographer.
PSA: strongly suggested to read the warnings before proceeding.
WC; 3.6k | Do not repost this anywhere, reblogs are fine ♡ | THANK YOU FOR 4K FOLLOWERS MWAH
You throw your bag onto your twin sized bed with a huff.
After sitting through a two and a half hour seminar about your program, you left that building knowing nothing more about it than you did a week ago. You didn’t even get to meet your instructor, despite being informed that he would try and make it to the orientation day.
Alas, he was a no show, and you really hope he is more professional than this first impression of him.
You sit next to your bag and play with the zipper for a bit as you glance around the room. It was nice, sure, but you quickly discovered that nothing compared to the room you shared with Anakin back in your apartment. Having just your things on one side of the room looked wrong. Your books on the shelf looked wrong without having his sheet music next to them. Your cardigan that was hung up in the wardrobe looked wrong without one of Anakin’s leather jackets next to it. Even your bed looked wrong since it wasn’t big enough to hold more than one person comfortably.
Sure, Anakin’s bunk on the bus was a lot smaller, but it still felt more right than sleeping by yourself does.
You bite down on your lip as you pull out your phone and check the time.
Since it had been a few days since you last saw him, the time zone difference between you and Anakin was going to be a bit difficult to figure out. He was in Norway now, so thankfully there was only an hour difference, and you were able to figure out what he could possibly be doing right now.
It was nearing six PM now, and he and the guys would be set to be on stage within another hour or so, and you really wanted to talk to him.
Your fingers play with the thread on your blanket as your free hand types out a quick message.
Ani, I miss you. Are you able to talk for a second?
And you were barely able to swipe out of the text app before he was calling you. Bringing your phone up to your ear, you greet him with a dumb smile painted on your lips, “Hi, Ani,”
You hear him sigh quietly as you pull at the thread some more. “Hi, baby,” he says back and your smile only grows. “I miss you, too. So fucking much, I’m going insane.”
You laugh and move to sit further back on your bed, bringing your knees up to your chest with a shake of your head. “No, you’re out touring the world. You’ll forget all about me soon enough,”
Anakin laughed and the sound had your body tingling. “Yeah, and I’ll also become the next president. Add that to the list of things that will never happen,” he says and you blush a bit as you lean back against your pillow. “How was that orientation thing? Is your instructor nice?”
You chew on your chapped lip as you debate on whether or not you should tell him that you had a pretty bad day now or after he was done with the show. You didn’t want him worrying about you before he was supposed to go on stage, and you also didn’t want to come off as some sad girl who had a shitty day just because she wasn’t able to spend it with her boyfriend.
“It was fine,” you answer and pull the blanket up from its spot at the end of the bed. You loosely throw it over your legs and resume pulling at the threads. “A bit boring, but that was to be expected, I guess. I met this guy who is in the same program as me and we made plans to get coffee at some point. His name is Evan. And my instructor was a no show, so I didn’t get to meet him.”
You hear muffled sounds coming from his end before he was mumbling an, “Oh, that’s….professional,”
You laugh quietly, looking over at the curtain covered window with a soft sigh. “I really do miss you, Ani,”
He had only been gone a few days, but you couldn’t remember a time you felt this fucking lonely. You felt a bit pathetic, but could you really be blamed?
“I miss you, too, princess,” he said just as quietly, and it felt like the two of you fell into your own little world. “It’s weird not having my cheerleader waiting backstage for me.”
You groan and lean back  against the headboard. “Don’t remind me,” you mumble. “I can only imagine all the girls who would swap places with me right now to be your cheerleader, and how many think I’m fucking stupid for being here and not with you.”
“Hey,” he scolded. “You are not stupid. I’ve said it so many times now, but I’ll gladly say it again; I’m fucking proud of you. You deserve to be there rather than stuck backstage while I’m off living my life. Think of all that will come from this, all the opportunities that will be thrown at you. You should be excited, ‘cause I know I am.”
“I’m excited,” you promised, bringing your hand up to chew on your fingernail. “I’m just lonely and missing you. I’ll be fine.”
“You just need to find something to do,” he suggested. “Your classes start in a few days, right? Go sightseeing or meet up with your classmates. Oh, I know, go see that big fucking clock.”
You laugh loudly, and you knew he was probably smiling right now at his successful attempt to cheer you up. “The Big Ben?”
“Whatever its name is,”
You laugh again and drop your hand. “Ani, that’s like a two and a half hour drive from me,”
“Take one of those fancy trains,”
“You’re too much,”
“You love me,”
“I do,” you agree. “I love you a lot.”
He laughed and the sweet sound had you smiling. “I love you a lot more,”
-
Another location officially crossed off the list.
Anakin was a sweaty mess as he handed his guitar off to one of the stage guys before making his way to the exit. Before he could make it very far he felt a hand wrap around his forearm and pull him off to the side to where the speakers were. “Hey!” Liz beamed, grinning up at him and holding her camera close to her chest. “You were amazing!”
This was the second night in a row that she had stopped him from leaving to congratulate him, and the second time he was instantly reminded of you.
Liz’s skin was slightly sweaty but it was nothing compared to his own, and Anakin smiled at her as he put a few feet of distance between them. “Thanks,” he said. “You got some nice shots?”
“Of course I did,” she rolled her eyes playfully. “All my shots of you are nice.”
Anakin’s smile faded a bit as he took a hand towel from one of the stage guys and wiped away the sweat from the back of his neck. There was that weird feeling again. Was she being flirty or just trying to hype up someone she considered a client? “Is that right?” He asked, watching as she nodded and bit down on her lip. His eyes instinctively flickered to her mouth and he straightened up once he caught himself. “Well, I can’t wait to see them.”
When he turned to leave again, her hand reached out and grasped his bicep, her palm fully covering your initial as she moved to stand in front of him again. “I can show you some now, if you want?” She offered, making him hold back a cringe as he tried to think of a way to nicely reject her.
He feels his phone buzz in his pocket and his face relaxes slightly when he reads your text.
Princess: I miss you already. Can we facetime after your show?
His heart skipped a beat at the fact that, despite you not even being here, you were able to save him from this interaction. “I can’t,” he said and looked up at her. “I’m gonna call Y/n as soon as I get back to the bus.”
Her face fell a bit as she backed away. “Oh, right,” she mumbled. “You and your girlfriend are so cute. How long have you two been together?”
“Five years in a few weeks,” he answered, fighting off a dumb grin as he thought about his milestone with you.
“Wow,” she lifted both brows as she gave him a forced grin. “You were just kids when you met then.”
Anakin furrowed his brows as he pocketed his phone again. “I guess,”
He hadn’t really given it much thought. Yeah, you two met when you were super young, and you still are young now and have lasted longer than most couples in their thirties, so he wasn’t really seeing the point she was trying to get at.
“Anyway, I don’t want to keep her waiting,” he trailed off, watching as she nodded.
“Oh, sure,”’ she shrugged. “Have a good night, Anakin.”
“You too,” he replied, already walking away and towards the parking lot door.
He was barely inside the bus before he was calling you, his tired eyes staring back at him as he waited for you to pick up. “Ani,” you nearly gasped when you did answer, your big smile making his own form.
“Baby,” he murmured, walking past the couch and heading straight towards his bunk. “You look so pretty.”
You look down at yourself and laugh before shaking your head. “I’m wearing pajamas, Anakin,”
“You’re wearing my shirt,” he pointed out. “You look so fucking hot.”
You blush a bit and he wants nothing more than to be with you right now. He wants to see that pretty blush of yours in person. “Don’t say that to me,” you begged, scrunching your brow cutely. “I refuse to be turned on when you’re not here.”
Anakin smirks as he passes his bunk and enters the bathroom. “Have you had to touch yourself yet?” He shamelessly asked as he locked the door and leaned against the sink.
“Anakin,” you blush even more as you sit up against your headboard. “I have a roommate.”
“Is she there with you right now?”
“No,”
“Then what’s the problem?” He asked as he used one hand to strip himself of his shirt. “Come on, princess, imagine how good I’d be making you feel if I was there right now.”
He watches as you bite down harshly on your bottom lip. “Ani,”
“Imagine how good my fingers make you feel,” he continued, watching the way your eyes filled with lust.
“Anakin,” you warned. “I swear.”
He smirked a bit, dropping his shirt to the floor. “I miss you, baby,” he murmured, his eyes following the curve of your jaw as you turned to hide your face in your pillow. “It’s not the same without you here.”
You whined a bit as you lifted your head. “London is fucking boring without you. Imagine all the fun we’d be having right now,”
“I’m sure we’d be having a lot of fun,” came his dirty remark and you quickly broke eye contact again. “Quit looking away, baby, I wanna see your pretty face.”
“I can’t look at you when you say those things to me,” you confessed, turning back to face him with a blush covering your cheeks.
“Okay, okay, I’ll stop. Tell me about your day,” he says as he unzips his jeans with his free hand.
You light up at that. “I ended up texting that guy I told you about, Evan? We did the campus tour together and got drinks from this really cute coffee shop that’s right next to my dorm. You’d love it, Ani, they had so many flavors,”
Anakin smiled at that, happy you had already made a friend and found a place to go to in between classes. “That’s awesome,” he said. “I wish I was there with you. Maybe we’ll go to London together one day and you can show me the shop.”
“Yes,” came your immediate response. “Absolutely, let’s do that.”
He shook his head as he rids himself of his jeans. You’re cute,”
“I know,” you beam. “How was the show? I’m so sad I missed it.”
Anakin kicked his clothing into a pile in the corner of the small room. “It was good. Liz said she got some good shots of us that she’ll send later. You wanna see them too?”
“Always,” you scoff then smile. “How is everyone? How’s Theo?”
“Everyone’s doing well,” he answered. “Theo is…honestly doing a really bad job at hiding how nervous he is about his mom. Vin and I told him that we’re here if he needs anything, but he always just brushes us off. He’s distant whenever we’re not on stage together.”
Your brows furrow a bit as you slouch back against your headboard. “His mom is sick, Ani…and he’s not with her. Yeah, his sister is, but he’s the oldest and has been with her the longest. I can’t imagine what he’s going through,”
“Yeah, but I just wish he would talk to me, you know? I’ve known him since I was sixteen. It feels like he’s slipping away from us,” he vented as he propped his phone up on the sink and looked at himself in the mirror.
“Maybe being on stage is his escape,” you offer. “He’s going through a lot right now, Ani. Give him time, he’ll come around.”
Anakin tore his eyes away from the mirror and looked back at you. You were always so kind and rational and always thought about everyone else’s feelings before you spoke. You really are too sweet for your own good. “What would I do without you?” He honestly asked and you smiled at him.
“You’d probably be as miserable as I would be without you,”
And he knew you were right.
-
“Hey, Anakin!” Liz greeted and pulled him into a hug, surprising him with the sudden display of affection. He stumbled back a bit, nearly bumping into one of the stage crew members as he did so.
“Hey,” he said back, returning the hug briefly before placing his hands on her hips and gently pushing her away from him.
She kept her hands on his shoulders as she asked, “Did you get the photos from last night? I didn’t even need to edit these ones, they came out perfect,”
They really did look great. And you made sure to let him know just how good he looked in your message back to him when he forwarded the email to you before he went to bed last night.
“Yeah, they look awesome,” he said as he stepped away from her. “Though I’m sure that has more to do with the camera and the person behind it.”
Liz rolled her eyes as she pulled out her phone. “When will you learn how to take a compliment?” Then she lifted her phone and pointed it right at him, and he had no time at all to realize what she was doing before he heard the sound of a picture being taken. She clicked on the image and showed it to him, “See? You can’t take a bad photo, even when you don’t realize one is being taken.”
Anakin laughed and shook his head a bit. “Okay, point taken, you can delete that now,”
But she just turned off her phone and pocketed it without deleting the photo. “We should do something together soon,” she suggested and he was about to gently turn her down when she added, “You, me, Vinny and Theo. I want to get to know my clients. Maybe we’ll work together more in the future, you know, after the tour.”
That wouldn’t be a bad idea, right? It might be nice to have a friendship with someone who knows how to work a camera, and Liz really did. Her work was amazing and she never failed to make Anakin feel as desired as he supposedly was by millions of people.
“Yeah, for sure,” he agreed, then thought about another way she could take photos for him. “Maybe Y/n and I will hire you for our wedding.” It was a joke, the photographer part, definitely not the wedding part. He knew he will be marrying you someday, and he honestly couldn’t fucking for the day you become his wife, but there is also lots of time for that later, when you are both ready.
The joke definitely went over her head. “Oh, you two are engaged?”
He fucking wished.
“No, we’re not,” he said, somewhat disappointedly. Just because you were waiting to get married doesn’t mean you were waiting to be engaged. Anakin also knew that he wouldn’t be able to hold off on asking you that question for much longer. “Not yet, anyway.”
She gave him a smile that looked a little forced. “You two are serious then, huh?”
He furrowed his brows as he leaned against the speaker backstage. This was always your spot, and he was missing you a little extra right now. God, he had no idea how he was supposed to make it another two weeks without you, then two months without you after that.
“Yeah,” he trailed off. He thought she would’ve known by now how serious you and he are. Sure, you were basically kids when you met, but he knew from that first day that you were the only girl for him, and that fact was still true to this day. “Four years in, you get to be pretty serious.”
She nodded and moved closer to him, her natural flirty personality coming out in full swing as she smirked up at him. “That’s too bad,” she hummed, running a red painted nail up his sleeve of tattoos. “I’d say I’m happy for you, but then I’d be lying. You seem like a great guy, Anakin. It’s too bad you were taken off the market when you were so young.”
He had no idea how to respond to that. She was definitely flirting with him, but he didn’t see the harm in it as long as he didn’t flirt back, and he had no intention in doing that anyway. Physically he was here, but his heart and mind were back in London with you.
You were probably pacing around your dorm room right, nervous and scared about starting the program tomorrow. He hadn’t spoken to you since last night, where he ranted about how much he missed you, then listened to the way you talked dirty to him until he had no choice but to get himself off while he was still on FaceTime with you.
You told him that you would’ve helped him clean up the mess he made if you were there with him, and he had to wrap the call up pretty quickly after that as he could feel himself getting hard again and didn’t want the guys to get annoyed with him for being in the bathroom for too long.
While his hand didn’t feel even close to how you did, he’d definitely be calling you again after tonight’s show.
“Thanks, Liz, but I was a massive band geek back then and Y/n was this perfect, straight A student who I had no business asking out, let alone talking to,” he reminisced back to his high school days with you.
“But you did,” she sounded almost bored, but he wasn’t really paying much attention to her tone at this point. He never focused on much else when the topic of the conversation was you.
“Yeah, I did,” he confirmed, looking down at her with a dumb, love-struck grin. “Best decision of my life.”
She rolled her eyes and stepped away from him. “See, that’s what I’m talking about. I was convinced there were no more good guys left in the world, and now here you are, so in love with your high school sweetheart it’s almost disgusting,”
He laughed and crossed his arms. “You’re not the first person to call me and my relationship that,”
Liz sighed as she gazed up at him. “I can only hope that I find a guy as nice as you soon,” she mumbled. “I mean, I’m twenty seven, I should be married by now. I’m so far behind.”
Anakin felt bad for her, and he supposed that was what she was trying to do after bringing up the topic of relationships. “You’ll find someone,” he assured her. “And you’re not behind. You’re a successful photographer, you’re nice, you’re pretty…anyone would be lucky to have you.”
She looked up at him with slightly darker eyes and he stood up a bit straighter, afraid he went too far with that one. “You think I’m pretty?”
He definitely went too far with that one, but he also didn’t want to ruin her newfound confidence. “Yeah,” he answered with a nod, wanting to either escape this conversation or change the subject entirely. “I’m sure I’m not the first person to tell you that.”
Liz shook her head and bit down on her lip. “No, but you’re the first person I believe,”
She reached out to him and only got to trace the newer ink on his wrist before he was pulling away. “Really?” He laughed and backed away. “I’m sorry to hear that. Anyway, I should help set up for tonight. Apparently all the tickets were sold for this venue, so it’ll be packed. You think you can keep up with everyone?”
Liz smirked as she nodded, “I think I can manage,”

The Distance
Secondo x gn!reader
Warnings: Some suggestive comments, otherwise just fluff and lots of feelings, one sentence of google translated Italian, this is my first ever time writing for Secondo
Word Count: 938
Love from Your Papas Day 3: Long-Distance Valentine's Day with Secondo
Tumblr media
This is the brightest you've smiled in weeks.
With cheeks rosy and sore from beaming, you watch as Secondo sets up his phone to make himself visible to you. He’s without his paints and sunglasses, his white eye boring into the camera and right at you. It’s almost enough to forget that he’s not really with you.
Secondo is now nearing the end of his tour, and not seeing him for weeks has been difficult for the both of you. To your disappointment, Valentine’s day just so happened to land on a day where he’d be on the road. He found himself being equally as disappointed despite the fact that he’d never been big on celebrating the holiday in the past. But he knew just the thing to make the day brighter. Although he wouldn’t admit it, Secondo has a major soft spot for you– whatever brought you joy brought him just as much happiness, if not more.
This is why he is sitting on the phone with you, all dressed up as if he were taking you out on a date, which is what he would be doing if he really were there. Technology isn’t exactly Secondo’s forte, and his phone has already fallen over enough times for a small scowl to make its way to his face. But you’re just happy that he’d offered to do this for you. Finally, the phone stays propped up and he leans back into his seat, allowing you to admire him in the outfit he had chosen. It’s simple yet elegant– a black dress shirt with the top two buttons undone and the sleeves rolled up to expose his forearms along with some simple black dress pants you could see in his cross-legged position.
“You look… wow.” Is all you manage to say, a giddy and disbelieving laugh escaping you as well. Secondo chuckles, a sly grin replacing the temporary scowl. You make all of the unpleasant emotions vanish so easily.
“Cuoricino, have you seen yourself? You look absolutely radiant tonight.” He compliments, causing another excited laugh to come out of your mouth. Secondo absolutely adores your laugh. He is grateful for any sign that you are happy. You take a breath, trying to dial back your excitability.
“Truly, I think you look far more incredible than I do.” You say. You start to fidget with a bracelet on your wrist. “I really miss you, you know.”
This admission warms Secondo's heart. He uncrosses his legs and rests his elbows on his thighs as he leans closer to the camera. “I miss you too, amore mio. More than words can describe. If only I were there with you right now. I'm sure you can imagine what we'd get up to.”
You laugh and nod at the truth of his statement. “Oh, I sure can imagine it. I can't wait for the day to come where I don't have to rely on my imagination.”
Secondo chuckles. “I know, I know. And that day will come soon. But for now, I have a little something for you.” You raise an eyebrow as a mischievous grin forms on his face. “Check the closet.”
Bewildered, you rise from the couch in the quarters you share with Secondo and head over to the closet. At first, nothing catches your eye. It's just the same closet you get your clothes out of each morning. But then you notice a black gift bag in the top right corner of the shelf. You curiously take the bag and wander back to the couch, placing yourself back in front of your phone.
Secondo’s expression brightens as he sees that you located the bag. “Go on then. Open it.” He encourages.
You carefully pull out the green tissue paper and set it to the side. Inside the bag are a collection of your favorite snacks, cookies, and a letter. Your attention is captured first by the letter, taking it out before paying any attention to anything else inside the bag. You glance at Secondo waiting anxiously on the other side of the phone to see your reaction. You open the envelope and begin to read his neat and pleasant handwriting.
Il mio amore più caro,
Firstly, I would like to express how much I appreciate you and how you put up with a grumpy old man such as myself. I am not easy to be with, we're both well aware of that. But I haven't scared you off yet, so I must be doing something right. I don't often express the depths of how I feel for you in words. I do hope my actions make up for it, but you are completely deserving of hearing how I feel. I love you dearly, cuoricino. With you, I now have a place where I am truly allowed to bare my heart openly. You look right through my rough exterior, so I'd say you earned it. I'll tell you right now, I cannot wait to get home and get my hands on you, reminding you of my love over and over again. For now, enjoy your treats and know that I am always thinking of you.
Your Love,
Secondo
By the end of the letter, your grin cannot be contained. You refold the letter and place it back into the envelope before holding it closely to your heart, as if you were embracing Secondo himself. You've never felt closer to him, even with all of these miles that stand between you. But the distance is merely an obstacle that cannot hold off your love. He is yours in both body and soul.
----

tuesday again!
many problems … turning on the gravity check box did not, in fact, fix my simulation. woe.
listening: I saw Sammy Rae live last weekend and it was. fucking phenomenal. thank you random stranger from [redacted] who sold me her tickets. literally one of the best shows of my life. I am still reeling from it. they did a cover of Amy Winehouse's 'Valerie' as part of the encore and it was so good too.
in other news, Cascada has released a new album and it's a cover album and it bangs.
Call Me - Cascada: a brainworm of the week for sure.
I also listened to some The Reign of Kindo because they're an opener for The Dear Hunter tour rn and while I'd listened to them before I had forgotten what they sounded like. (wanted to go to one but it didn't end up working out, that hurt to miss, I'll have to do their next tour for sure)
Sing When No One's Around - The Reign of Kindo: just noticed the comments on this video are turned off ?? weird.
reading: Break-up of Steinger, Iscoe & Greene reads like a Grisham novel: GOD I love weird hyper-local drama.
agnito by Raxheim: tlt fanfic. symbolism, TM.
watching: newest monster factory … some Stephanie Lange who mostly does, like, beauty standards bad style content but makes for good background noise
The Men Who Promised the Impossible: Unlimited Energy by BobbyBroccoli: academic drama!!!!!!!! this one is truly wild, I had heard of it before I think but I love a video essay about shit like this.
We Get Grabbed By A Ghost At Trans-Allegheny Asylum by Watcher: I mostly stopped watching buzzfeed unsolved after their whole streaming service debacle but this got put on as crafting background and I enjoyed it! might start watching more of their stuff again. (I just noticed that I called it buzzfeed unsolved still even though they're their own thing now, oops,)
youtube
youtube
playing: fallowwwwwwwww. unless we count french horn. I got a new mouthpiece (it was half the price of the futon I got) (it's a cheap futon and a slightly expensive mouthpiece) and I am shocked and embarrassed by how big a difference it is making in my playing. you're telling me the dogshit no-name mouthpiece I stole from my band teacher in high school isn't cutting it??? crazy.
making: I made my cat a cat bed :) it's just two rectangles sewn together with a long rectangular strip as the side. I used some random canvas that I bought at some point for ? tote bag purposes ? I don't remember. the best part is I was FINALLY able to utilize the frankly ridiculous amount of fabric/thread/yarn/etc scraps/old clothing that's too fucked to get donated/etc that I've been saving specifically for stuffing pillows. worked really well, also put some plastic bag scraps in there because she loves lying on plastic bags and so far she definitely likes the crinkles of it. pictured in the photo is the weird I-think-polyester that was wrapped around my walmart futon when it was mailed that I shredded and used as stuffing.
Tumblr media
my bird bowl emerged mostly victorious from the kiln!!!! I say 'mostly' because there's a weird spot on the rim where the clear glaze just didn't stick? so I daubed a little more on and put her back on the shelf. but yay. glazed two shallow planters that I'm not super sure what I'll put in yet because they are quite small but we'll see.
Tumblr media
eating: made this NYT recipe of sheet pan miso chicken with radishes and lime but also added sunchokes with the radishes and no lime because I forgor. very yummy. will sustain me for the week and now I have more raw chicken thighs in the freezer for future cooking.
after the Sammy Rae concert we stopped for bubble tea for the drive home and I got a "mango pomelo sago" that was really just a smoothie with boba bits in it, it was very very tasty.
misc: speaking of academic drama: one of my friends is dealing with some frankly insane academic drama rn that I am soooo popcorn dot gif over. I can't ever say anything specific about it on here because it will immediately doxx me but if you want tea send me a DM it's so wild

Boarding School for Giants (3/25)
Start from the beginning: https://www.tumblr.com/voraciousvore/731600430392639488/boarding-school-for-giants-125?source=share
------ Chapter 3 ------
The vice principal remained silent for a while. He walked around outside in the schoolyard for a long time, cradling me in his capacious hands, until I finally started to calm down and stopped shaking.
“Are you alright?” he asked gently. I could feel his voluminous voice filling his chest as he spoke.
“Yeah,” I mumbled, and rubbed my face with my hands to compose myself. “Sorry about that.”
“You have nothing to be sorry about,” he replied softly. “I understand how scary it is, to be around giants for the first time. I assure you, no harm will come to you here. You’re safe.” I appreciated his efforts to comfort me, but I didn’t believe his words, even if he was being genuine. Even if none of the giants intentionally harmed me, which was a dubious assumption to start with, I had become painfully aware of how easy it would be for one of them, simply by virtue of their great size, to accidentally drop me or smash me. Just the thought of navigating the floor of the school, surrounded by gigantic clomping feet that could crush me like a bug, filled me with dread.
“How am I supposed to get around this place, when everything is so big?” I questioned the giant man, looking up at his face with wide eyes.
“Oh, right. An astute question. We will actually provide you with a bicycle that you can ride all over campus, including indoors. It'll be far more expedient that trying to walk everywhere with those tiny little legs of yours.” He let out a good-natured chuckle and looked down at me with a kind smile. “Would you like a tour of the school now? I’m sure knowing where everything is will make your first day much easier.”
“Yes, I’d appreciate that,” I answered timidly. The giant started walking back towards the central plaza. The students had finished their classes and were pouring out of the main building, so the vice principal waited until foot traffic died down before entering the stone structure. He showed me the now empty classrooms, which other than the giant scale of them were fairly typical, with the exception of a row of human-sized desks elevated on a shelf along the wall, with a staircase to reach them and a bike rack underneath. I had to admit, the design was surprisingly clever. At least while in class I wouldn’t be sitting on a desk on the floor, where somebody could accidentally step on me.
Next, we checked out the cafeteria, which had a separate human section of tables tucked away in the corner. Mr. Henderson explained to me that the cafeteria workers would prepare my meals and leave them in a discreet designated area for me, which was a platform near the floor adjacent to the serving area for the giants. Since for now I was the only human student in the entire school, he told me that it wouldn’t be practical to have a full serving area for humans, and I would be given prepackaged meals in brown paper bags. Fair enough I suppose. Having suffered a mild degree of food insecurity as a child, I wasn’t picky. Food was food.
We passed by the bathrooms, and I was very grateful to see there were entirely separate, private facilities specifically designed for human accessibility. We also popped into the library, which had a modest selection of literature for humans to read on one of the bottom shelves. The giant then carried me back toward the administration offices, where I had met the principal. Reminded of the unpleasant interaction, I shivered and gripped one of the giant’s thick fingers in my hands. In response, he curled his fingers around me protectively. The principal was still in his office, focused on paperwork. He looked angry. I sank down lower into the giant’s hand, hoping I wouldn’t be seen.
Keeping his voice low, so as not to disturb his boss, the vice principal said to me, “This is my office over here, at the end of the hall. If you need anything, don’t be afraid to come see me.” He held me up to his eye level and gazed at me intently. “I really mean that. Okay?”
I looked back into his expressive brown eyes. They were full of warmth, just like a cup of coffee. “Okay,” I echoed quietly. He smiled, and his eyes lit up. He brought his hand back down to his prodigious torso and continued the tour. I swayed back and forth in his hands with every lengthy stride.
We went back outside. By now, the sun was starting to sink down into the horizon, casting long shadows and bathing the earth in the bright, ethereal light of late afternoon. Streaks of orange and pink clouds ornamented the firmament. A mild, warm breeze ruffled my hair. The feeling was lovely, and almost made me forget how messed up my life had become. Almost.
Mr. Henderson was a tall man, even for a giant, not to mention a figure of authority on campus, so he drew attention wherever he went. There were some giant students hanging around in the courtyard around the school, and most of them at least glanced at him as he passed by. Some of them, if they happened to spot my miniscule figure in his hand, looked me over as well. Their reactions were mixed: some confused, some curious, some disdainful. I didn’t like the attention: It scared me. At my old school, I had been a troublemaker and an outsider—some might go so far as to label me a “loser”—and therefore I was the natural target for some nasty bullies. Here, being the only human at a school populated by giants, I couldn’t avoid being an outsider even if I tried to blend in. I really didn’t want to think about the sort of horrors a bully who was a giant could inflict on me.
We made our way to the athletic area behind the school. The school sponsored several sports and extracurricular activities, so the field was crowded with giant students playing football and soccer. Several students were jogging and sprinting on the track, and others took advantage of the basketball court to play with their friends. While I had never been the type of girl to be involved in sports, I was a little sad that I was by default excluded from joining my giant classmates in any sort of outdoor activity, lest I be unwittingly squashed underfoot.
“Our school has a rich tradition of fostering athletic prowess,” Mr. Henderson recited, as if he were reading from a brochure. “Although, I’m sorry to say, you won’t be able to play.” He winced. Clearly, he cared about the wellbeing of his students, and didn’t like the idea of a student being excluded from social activities simply by virtue of her physical stature.
“I should also mention, you’ve been formally excused from attending PE class, so some of your schooldays will be shorter than the rest. We figured you’d get plenty of exercise just from traversing our giant-sized campus.” He was right about that, and I certainly wasn’t going to complain. I hated PE, and less time in school was an added bonus.
The giant was now skirting the edge of the campus, alongside the tremendous hedges and the buildings housing all the students. I felt some apprehension. How would I handle living and sleeping in a space full of giants? It didn’t sound safe or practical. Fortunately, though I didn’t voice my concerns, they were swiftly addressed.
“We have a separate dormitory built for humans that you’ll be staying in,” the giant commented. “However, the dormitory for girls has yet to be constructed, so your building is located next to the housing for the giant boys. I hope you don’t mind. I suppose our board of directors assumed we would be getting male students first. On the plus side, you’ll have the whole building to yourself, being the only human. Here it is.”
I crawled over to the edge of his huge hand to get a glimpse of my new home. The human dormitory, in terms of style and construction, looked identical to the giant dorms, but was positively puny by comparison. The roof didn’t even reach the giant’s knee. From my vantage point in the giant’s hand, the whole structure looked like a dollhouse that the giant could kick over and stomp into rubble if he were so inclined. I wasn’t particularly fond of that mental image, especially considering I would be living inside the building.
The giant lowered his hulking mass into a crouch, moving slowly to avoid knocking me over, and placed his hand on the concrete so I could dismount. Relieved to be in control of myself again, I slid off his hand and onto my own two feet. I took in my surroundings from the ground. Everything looked so much larger. The monumental buildings seemed to stretch upwards into infinity. The grass along the sidewalks turned into a forest. The human dormitory next to me, which I thought looked like a toy from the giant’s hand, transformed before my eyes into a full-sized structure. I looked up at the giant who towered over me.
“Here’s your bike,” he remarked, pointing to the bike rack. He spun the front wheel playfully with his index finger. I had to admit, the bike was nice. It was a street bike of a simple design, very plain, painted blue, but still of a decent quality.
“Do you have any questions or concerns for me before I leave?” the giant asked. My mind went blank and I couldn’t think of a single thing. I was still overwhelmed with all the new developments that had transpired over the course of a single day. Just this morning, I had been at home, oblivious, having never seen a giant in my entire life. And now I was living among them, surrounded on all sides by a world not designed for me. I shook my head.
“Alright then. It was a pleasure meeting you, Eren. Good luck on your first day tomorrow,” the giant concluded. He dug into his pocket and pulled out my bags, setting them down next to me on the pavement. Then, he raised himself up off the ground and stood up to his full, incredible height. I couldn’t help but gawk at the colossus that loomed high into the sky. He was so tall, I was surprised his head didn’t touch the clouds. He regarded me, the pathetic little creature dwarfed by his gigantic shoe, for a long moment with a pensive expression, then turned away and strode off, his footsteps sending tremors through the ground as he went.
I exhaled a shaky breath. Even though he had been kind and gentle towards me, the giant had still aroused a primordial fear from deep inside me. As if to cement that notion, the earth beneath my feet began to quake as some giant students strolled toward their dorms, and I hurried inside the human building with my bags before any of them could spot me. The floor, the walls, even the ceiling rattled as the group of giants ambled by. They were talking to each other as they walked, and their loud deep voices filled the air and made it vibrate. I cringed and hugged myself tightly with my arms in a feeble attempt to calm myself down. Eventually the footsteps faded into the distance. There was no way I was going to make it through this nightmare. I felt a rising panic threatening to break through my chest.
Trying to force down these overpowering emotions, I distracted myself by scrutinizing my new home. The first thing I noticed was a manila envelope that was on the floor inside the entryway. Since none of the giants could fit in the building, I assumed one of them must have opened the door and tossed the envelope inside for me. I opened the envelope. It contained a packet of papers that included my class schedule, some general introductory information about the school, a promotional pamphlet, and a contact list with emails and phone numbers with all the teachers and staff. My stomach tightened as I realized I didn’t have my phone or a computer. I couldn’t contact anyone; I was alone.
I held in my feelings, close to bursting, and continued to explore. There was a communal space that was furnished with some used couches and a scratched-up coffee table. A mini kitchen area contained a counter, sink, microwave, fridge, and a cheap plastic table with chairs. Tucked away in a corner was an ancient washer and dryer set. The bathroom resembled a public restroom with toilets and showers. The beds were lined up all in one room, so I suppose if there were other students there wouldn’t be much privacy. I had it all to myself though. My stranded, lonely self. At least I had my own space to hide away from the giants if the whole experience became unbearable.
I wondered to myself how the giants got all the furniture inside. Did they hire a human crew to construct the building and bring everything in? I wasn’t sure how often, if at all, humans crossed the barrier into giant society. I surveyed the walls and ceiling and noticed an odd seam running along the edges on top. The seam outlined all the rooms in the building, except for one section that was instead a set of monstrous hinges. The mystery was solved. The roof was removable. I wasn’t safe here either. At any time, one of the giants could remove the roof, reach in, and snatch me up.
The light outside faded until the darkness of night took over. I could hear giant crickets screeching outside, a little bit too loud to be pleasant. I was hungry, but the absolute last thing I wanted to do was go out among the giants and trek the formidable distance to the dining hall. I was too anxious to even consider it. Instead, I had a cigarette for dinner. I smoked inside, because I didn’t give a damn. I had less than a single pack left, so I was going to be forced to quit smoking soon. I doubted I could just sneak out and buy human-sized packs like I did back home.
Could I even leave the campus safely, or was I effectively trapped here? Only time would tell. Cold reality was hitting me hard. I was slipping into fear and despair. I felt horrible, being so small and alone and isolated. My empty belly churned. I prepared for bed. I was emotionally drained and exhausted. I laid down in one of the beds, curled up into a tight ball, and struggled not to cry at my misfortune.

task [i lost count]: mickey's last interaction with richard
july, 2005
they day mickey received the news of her promotion felt like the best day of her life. before this, she was just a small part of a much larger team, entering numbers and double checking calculations. but now, she was joining a small team who's focus was on gps imaging to hopefully pave the way to better ways to navigate on a multitude of aircrafts. it felt like she was finally taking steps in the right direction to her end goal of hopefully working for nasa one day. of course, at the time, she didn't realize that taking this promotion would mean the downfall of her relationship with the more she invested into her job instead of her personal life.
at first, jessica was so supportive of her, happy that she was taking a bigger role at work and becoming more important in her field. she even came with her to give richard the good news. mickey planned a weekend trip, giving richard a call during the week to make sure he was free and to tell him she had some big news she wanted to tell him in person.
they packed the car, left extra food and water for bob for the two days they would be away, and headed down for the two hour drive back to woodrow house. the drive went by quickly, filled with singing along to the latest fall out boy album; it was a stark difference to how her next drive to woodrow would be.
mickey had told jessica a little about how she was raised when they were in college, not the whole story because even to mickey it seemed a bit ridiculous, growing up as one of sixteen wards in a mansion to a renowned professor out of the kindness of his heart probably sounded crazy. but jessica knew what richard woodrow meant to mickey and understood why she wanted to share this good news in person.
they arrived at the house in the late afternoon, saturday july 16th. mickey greeted beau at the gate with a friendly smile and a few pleasantries before pulling up to the house. she couldn't help but watch jessica's face as they pulled up, wanting to see her reaction to the house.
"you grew up here? why the hell would you want to live in our tiny one bedroom apartment instead of this?" she knew jessica was joking, they loved their apartment.
"this old thing? it gets kind of lonely now that everyone is gone," mickey said with a laugh as she parked along the garage.
mrs. tristian was there to greet them and take their bags into the house, she always seemed to be watching, knowing the second anyone pulled on to the property. mickey gave a few pleasantries but tried to ignore the way mrs. tristian looked between her and jessica with a different disdain than the usual she had for mickey. she didn't let it get to her, she was used to looks like this, mickey was no stranger to the homophobia of 2005 even if the world seemed to be going in a better direction from years before.
once inside, mrs. tristian informs them that richard was in his office and she would go get him as they get settled in. mickey gave jessica a quick tour, taking her to a few notable rooms before heading up to the third floor where her room was.
"i still can't believe this was where you grew up," jessica repeated as she sat on mickey's bed, taking in her room. everything in her room was still the same from when she moved away four years ago. all the stars stuck to the ceiling, the planet models hanging from strings, the piles of books and trinkets that covered every shelf. she always loved being back in her room. their apartment was nice but jessica has definitely toned down mickey's eccentricness over the years, here it was as if mickey's mind and imagination poured out on to every inch of the room.
they head back downstairs after awhile to go see richard. he and jessica meet briefly once before when they both graduated from kingsbury together but this was the first time jessica has been at the house and spending an extended amount of time with him.
"richard, it's nice to see you," mickey said happily as they embrace and greet each other.
"it's lovely to see you too, michèle," he said just as warmly as he always had. while mickey always felt like she was in trouble when mrs. tristian used her full name (which she usually was), there was a sense of familial love when richard did it. "and it's nice to see you again, jessica, was it? i believe we met at michèle's graduation."
"yes, we did," jessica said with a smile. "you have a very lovely home, i don't thing i've ever seen a place this amazing."
"why thank you, dear. we've put a lot of time and love into this house. come, let's sit in the sunroom and catch up. you said you had some news for me?"
they moved to the sunroom, richard on one wicker chair and mickey and jessica on one of the benches.
"so, what's the big news that warranted a trip down? not that i don't enjoy seeing you."
"well, as you know, i've been working at DART for a few years now and this week, i was offered a promotion to a higher division. i'll be working more directly with a pretty important project," mickey explained happily, glancing from richard to jessica. "this just felt like something i should tell you in person after all the attention and care you've given me and my career over the years. you always saw something in me and i'm just grateful you gave me the opportunity to achieve it"
"oh that's wonderful to hear," richard said. "thank you for coming all this way to tell me that. i'm very proud of how far you've come. what is it you're going to be working on now?"
mickey could feel her face heat up from his sentiment. richard's approval was something she always craved growing up, she's gotten it over the years but it always felt so good to know that she was making him proud as one of his wards. "i'll be working in the navigation sector. were going to taking satellite imaging to make gps and navigation easier on aircrafts. it's meant for the military but i think if we get it working, it'll move to the private sector and maybe even commercial airplanes."
"that sounds really important, mickey. i hope it all goes well for you and your team."
"thank you, richard, that means a lot."
they broke out into their typical conversation whenever mickey came to visit, catching up with how things have been at home and with the foundation. richard asked jessica a few questions, despite a couple awkward inserts about how he 'had known a lovely gay couple' when he was still teaching, they seemed to get off well.
that night, richard had chef pierre make one of mickey's favorite dishes and they shared it together with steph (i'm just assuming she's still living there at this point, can remove if that isn't the case).
the rest of the weekend was nice, mickey always liked coming home. she tried to make it a habit to come every few months and catch up with everyone. sometimes, it was always hard to go back to montreal. she loved jessica and their life they had, but woodrow will always feel like home to her.

A Workplace Affair
Kei Tsukishima x F!Reader - NSFW
Summary: As the new tour guide at the Sendai Museum and presenter of their space exhibit, you have to work closely with the head of the dinosaur exhibit. Can you and Tsukishima learn to put aside your differences or are you going to have to work things out a different way?
Word Count: 3781
A/N: AHHHH. I put my soul into this piece I swear. As you know, Tsukishima is the absolute love of my life and I actually based this piece on this lovely commission from @/novaasoph on Instagram! I spent so long looking up dinosaur facts and the dress in the picture and story is actually a dress I own. Yes this is EXTREMELY self-indulgent, but I tried to make it as inclusive as possible because WE ALL NEED TO BE RAILED BY TSUKISHIMA IN A CLOSET OKAY?? As always likes and reblogs are hella appreciated 💕
TW: unprotected sex, enemies to lovers, slight public sex, oral sex (m receiving), workplace sex, my simping for Kei is v apparent
Tumblr media
Here you were, a fresh-faced college graduate. After years of grueling nights spent studying and pulling all nighters to reach your goals, you had finally landed the job of your dreams working for the Sendai museum. The museum had hired you for their new Space exhibit and you would be one of their lead tour guides. The man who hired you, your new boss technically, had been desperate. The museum was preparing for an onslaught of tours now that the space exhibit was open. As Mr. Hashimoto excitedly explained, “Kids love space and dinosaurs and we finally got them both! Now we just need a good tour guide!” Mr. Hashimoto was an older grandfatherly type man, with large glasses, and a bushy grey mustache. Immediately you felt comfortable and warm from his friendliness.
He led you through a short tour of the museum, finally stopping at the last and largest exhibit, a cheery green sign declaring it the “Dinosaur Zone!”. You were in awe over the large T.Rex skeleton in the center of the room.
“It’s beautiful!” You excitedly turned to Mr. Hashimoto.
He smiled at you, his eyes crinkling.
“It really is, isn’t it? One of our prized displays. And of course, here comes the man of the hour.” He gestured toward a tall man walking towards the two of you.
The man was tall, at least 6 feet. His hair was blonde with a slight curl near his ears. He wore black half-rim glasses and his eyes were a bright golden hue. You could tell through his suit he was toned and muscular. His white button up was fitted very well against his broad chest and you felt your body heat up. Whoever this man of the hour was, he was HOT.
And the hot guy was staring at you, clearly annoyed.
“Miss Y/N, this is Mr. Kei Tsukishima, the “Dino Man”, if you will. He used to run the tours on this end, and now works more on the exhibit handling. If you need to know anything about this area, he will be your go-to!” Mr. Hashimoto chuckled.
You extended your hand happily and after a beat, Tsukishima shook your hand. His hand engulfed yours in size and you felt a shiver run down your spine.
“Since you are new here, Tsukishima will be assisting you on running the tours, at least in this area. You two will be spending a lot of time together, so I suggest getting to know each other well!” He clapped you both on the shoulder and walked away. You saw Tsukishima stiffen and you were slightly disappointed when he began heading back toward his office, leaving you alone.
“Um, Tsukishima!” You called out, your voice echoing in the empty room. The blonde turned back, an eyebrow raised. You waited for him to respond but when he was silent, you spoke again.
“Uh...I look forward to working with you!” You smiled. He stared at you blankly and gave the briefest nod, before turning back around and walking away.
Well...that was...terrible.
Feeling dejected, you headed back to grab your bag and head home. You heard a door close in the distance. What you didn’t see was Kei with his back pressed against it, face red with a blush.
---
“As you can see here, these guys were pretty ferocious. I mean look at how big they were!” You stretched your arms out exaggeratedly, earning a loud laugh from the children you were currently leading on a tour. A few of the kids also started stretching their arms, growling at each other and laughing. You smiled, before hearing Tsukishima clear his throat.
“Well...ferocious if you were a tree. That’s an Aralosaurus. They were herbivores. Meaning they only ate plants.” Tsukishima gave you a pointed look, the ghost of a smirk dancing on his lips. You could feel your face heat up and turned around to face the children.
“Either way, it’s a pretty scary guy, I think!” You said smiling at the kids. You were determined to not lose your cool in front of the group you were leading.
“Actually, they were pretty docile creatures. They used this bulge to blow air out and scare predators away, but they weren’t a ‘scary guy’ as you so eloquently put it”. Tsukishima interjected.
You could feel your eyes about to roll back into your skull and you forced your smile to remain cheerful.
“Thank you so much for the information, Mr. Tsukishima. Or as we call him around here, Dino Boy!” You gave a fake laugh, feeling satisfied at the little crease appearing between his eyebrows as he gritted his teeth. You directed the children to the interactive sandbox where they could dig for plastic fossils. As the kids excitedly grabbed their buckets and shovels, you took a much needed mental break. Your exhibit was last, as the kids needed to burn out their excitement before the planetarium show and the dino exhibit usually tuckered them out well enough.
Lost in thought, you didn’t hear Tsukishima walk toward you. He stopped right next to you, his shoulder practically touching yours.
“Dino boy, really? That’s what we are going with today?” he muttered as the two of you watched the kids dig in the sandbox. You smirked and turned to face him.
“At least I don’t spend all day correcting people.”
“Well if you actually researched anything for your job instead of acting like a child, I wouldn’t have to correct you.” He looked at you with a withering stare. You felt yourself crumble inside. Tsukishima’s gaze could kill a man, but fuck if you weren’t going down without a fight.
The two of you held similar arguments every day. Whether it was an incorrect fact, going down the wrong “order” of displays, heck even the way you wore your badge, Tsukishima was there with a snide comment and you were sick of it.
“So I don’t know every little thing to know about dinosaurs. There are better ways to correct people you know!” You let out a short huff, before turning your head to walk back to the group. You could feel his gaze on you and you held your head high as you led the children to the space exhibit. As you began to talk about the galaxies, out of the corner of your eye you saw Tsukishima walk into the room and find a seat near the back.
Curious, as he usually didn’t interact with you outside of annoying corrections in the dinosaur exhibit. You chose to ignore him and kept talking, getting more excited as you explained the Milky Way galaxy and described the show you would put on for the tour group. You started the exhibit and sat down in your usual seat, which happened to be next to Tsukishima.
As the lights dimmed and the stars began to display on the arched ceiling, you could feel how close you actually were to Tsukishima. Your arms were nearly touching and you became very aware of how your heartbeat began to race. You attempted to focus on the program, as the built in narrator discussed the difference between the planets. You turned to sneak a look at the man next to you and found him already looking back at you. Your breath caught in your throat. His expression was unreadable but he didn’t look angry. His honey colored eyes were fixated on you and you felt your body tremble.
Before you could process what any of this meant, the narration stopped and you jumped up.
“As the video discussed, the planets fall into multiple categories! The cool thing about that is that even though we perceive them as something solid and perfectly round similar to basketballs, some of them are gas giants...”
You continued on, feeling only slightly disappointed as you watched Tsukishima sneak back out the door.
-----
“Are you kidding me, Tsukishima?” you shouted. You were standing in the break room, hands on your hips. He was standing in front of you a white mug in his hand, with his eyebrow raised.
“What are you even talking about?” He looked almost bored with the whole interaction as he poured coffee into his cup.
“Somehow all of my mugs are on the tallest shelf. The shelf only YOU can reach.” You glared at him.
He placed his mug down on the countertop and turned to you, lazily.
“Why on earth would I do that?” His eyes narrowed and a smirk crossed his face.
You crossed your arms.
“I don’t know, because you are just a giant bully?” Your eyes lowered and before he could react you grabbed his cup of coffee and stalked off.
-----
“What is the matter with you?!” Tsukishima yelled from his office, his voice echoing in the empty exhibit hall. The next tour wasn’t for a couple of hours.
You gently placed the box of files you were carrying on the cart in front of you.
“I’m sorry, I don’t follow?” You looked up at him with false innocence in your eyes.
“Why are all my pens now pink sparkle gel pens???!” He shouted at you, a fluffy topped pink pen in his hand.
Your eyes widened in mock surprise.
“Now Tsukki, why on Earth would I do that?” You turned to push the cart and ran right into Mr. Hashimoto, who cleared his throat, smiling at the two of you.
“Now I am always one for inter-office tomfoolery, but the two of you are going a little overboard. So unless morale improves around here, I may have to take drastic action.” He kept the smile on his face but there was a warning look in his eyes. You both gulped.
“Sorry, Mr. Hashimoto. This will never happen again.” Tsukishima was the first to speak. You bowed your head in agreement and Hashimoto, satisfied with your responses, walked away. You turned to walk away back to your cart before Tsukishima grabbed you by the wrist, and dragged you into a tiny storage room.
“Look, I know you despise me but I am not going to lose my job to some little girl in a stupid dress.” He hissed at you.
You looked down at your dress. It was dark blue with galaxies and planets patterned all over, quite fitting for your job actually.
“Shut up, dino boy. My dress isn’t stupid! And I am not going to lose my job to some mean schoolyard bully.” You raised your hand to flick his forehead, and he grabbed your wrist, pushing you against the wall.
“You need to learn some manners, little girl.” His voice dropped to a dangerously low whisper, and the two of you glared at each other. He was so close to you, his chest nearly touching yours and you felt your blush creep up as his brilliant eyes pierced into you.
You felt the heat pool between your legs and you squeezed your thighs together. The shadow of a smile passed over his face.
“Don’t tell me you’re turned on right now.” He said, letting out a soft mocking laugh. You gritted your teeth.
“Of course not, asshole. You’re the one who dragged me into a closet and are now pressing yourself against me, perv.” You spat back.
The sound of voices interrupted your argument and Tsukishima quickly clapped a hand over your mouth. The two of you being caught in this position regardless of the reason would be a terrible look for both of you. Your eyes widened and you held your breath until the voices outside the door faded away.
He slowly pulled his hand away and the two of you looked at each other. Before either of you could think, his lips were against yours, pressing you into the wall of the storage room.
His hand cupped your face as he deepened the kiss and you fell back, letting him take charge. He tasted like peppermint tea and citrus and you felt dizzy from the overwhelming sensations. You wrapped your arms around him, running your fingers through the curly hair behind his ears, gently tugging to pull him closer towards you.
He let out a low groan into your mouth, and you nibbled on his lower lip. He had one hand tangled in your hair and the other was making its way down your body, pulling down the strap of your dress. His kisses moved lower, soft lips pressing down your neck. He sucked a mark into your skin, grazing his teeth over the spot before soothing it with his tongue. You closed your eyes, arching your back away from the wall.
“Fuck...you know how long I’ve wanted to do this?” He whispered into your skin, before kissing your collarbone. Your skin intoxicated him and he needed more of you in every way.
You breathed out a sigh, “Could have fooled me.”
He pressed his forehead to yours, gazing into your eyes.
“You’re annoying, childish, ridiculous, absolutely over-the-top stubborn. And fucking gorgeous. You don’t know shit about dinosaurs, and yet you can make dead stars seem like the most interesting thing in the universe. You captivate the room when you walk through the door and I’ve been in love with you since the day we met.”
This time it was you who kissed him, your tongues exploring each other's mouths. His hand slipped under your lab coat and tugged slightly on the zipper of your dress, waiting for confirmation. You moaned into his mouth and he dragged the zipper down slowly, his fingertips brushing your spine. You slid your hand to his chest, unbuttoning his shirt. You could feel the muscles and ran your fingers over his abs, chiseled from years of athleticism.
He shrugged off his jacket and loosened his tie, as you let your dress pool to the floor. His eyes roamed your body, wanting to claim every inch of it as his. You were ethereal and Tsukishima had the urge to worship all of you.
You looked up at him, eyes shining brightly even in the dimly lit room.  He placed a finger under your chin, tilting your face up to his.
“Stunning.”
You giggled, and pressed a kiss to his neck, leaving a mark from your lipstick. He leaned back against the wall as you kissed down his chest, leaving a trail of cherry red over his porcelain skin. Soon you were on your knees, running your fingers over his soft happy trail before undoing his belt. Slowly, you slid down his slacks, noticing the dark stain of precum on his navy boxers. You pressed a kiss on each side of his abs, in the indentations of his V line. You ran your nails over the head of his erection, teasing him. He let out a soft hiss and you grinned. Perhaps another time, you would have spent all day teasing him, his whimpers like music to your ears.
But today, you were in a time crunch.
Using two fingers, you tugged down the elastic waistband of his boxers, freeing his cock.
It was beautiful, just like the man it belonged to. Long and slender, with the prettiest pink tip, dotted with a slick bead of precome.
You gave kitten licks to the tip, savoring his taste. Tsukishima threw his head back biting his lip. He needed more of your mouth and you were oh so happy to please.
Taking his length in your mouth, you deepthroated him, pressing your nose to the base, and felt the soft curly blond hairs tickle your skin.
Tsukishima's eyes rolled back as you began to suck him down, your throat clenching around his cock. His hands gripped your hair almost painfully, though it only added to your excitement.
You bobbed on his cock, pulling it nearly all the way out of your warm mouth before forcing it back down your throat. Swirling your tongue around the head with each thrust. You looked up at him, your eyes brimming with tears.
"Fuck you look so beautiful wrapped around my cock like that. I just wanna ruin you, pretty girl."
He started face-fucking you, slowly at first but when he felt no resistance from you, he began to speed up. His fingers grasped your hair, forcing his cock deeper down your throat with each thrust. Your tears fell freely now and you could see red smears of your lipstick decorating his shaft.
You moaned around him, your face wet with spit and tears and you could only imagine how wrecked you looked. Tsukishima let out a string of curses under his breath, jerking his hips upward to meet your mouth.
"Shit, fuck, just like that, baby. Fuck yes just like that…fuck gonna cum, gonna cum…" His eyes were screwed shut and you could see the blush enveloping his face, small drops of sweat running down. You forced yourself to take him as deep as possible, gagging on his cock.
With a loud moan, Tsukishima exploded inside your mouth. You could feel the hot ropes of cum sliding down your throat and you whimpered as you swallowed all of him down.
You finally released him from your lips, strings of saliva connecting you to his cock. He pulled you up, pressing a kiss to you.
"Fuck that was incredible." He whispered, wiping the smeared mess off your face. You felt something poking your thigh and realized he was still hard.
He looked at you and chuckled.
"Yeah turns out being an athlete gives you stamina." he said teasingly before pushing you up against the wall. “Don’t tell me you think I’m done with you yet.”
His fingers slid down your body, roughly tugging down your bra. He buried his face in your chest, biting and sucking on your tits, grazing over the hardened buds with his teeth. While he busied his mouth, his hands continued down, circling the wetness on your panties.
“You want this, pretty girl? You this wet for me?”  he whispered, before easing a finger into your soaking hole. You threw your head back. His fingers were long and slender and hit the deepest parts of you. He began to roll his thumb over your clit softly, listening to your quiet moans. He pressed another finger inside you, fucking you on them in preparation for his cock. Your arousal dripped down his wrist and his mouth watered thinking of your taste. Soon, he wanted to bury himself between your thighs, making you cream on his tongue over and over. But that would have to wait.
“Fuck...Tsukishima...I need, I need your cock. Please, please, please.” you panted, almost like a prayer.
“Say my name, pretty girl. Tell me who’s cock you need. Do that for me baby.” He grinned, working a third finger into you.
“Fuck...Kei...please, please Kei. Fuck me. Need your cock, Kei.” You pleaded, your body ablaze with your imminent high.
“Such a good girl.” He smirked, before pulling his fingers out abruptly. You whined as you clenched around nothing, but not for long as he pressed his cock to your entrance.
“Look at me.” He demanded. You looked up at him. Your hair and makeup were ruined, your eyes lidded with desire. Your lips were puffy and parted, whimpers of his name falling from your lips like a mantra as you begged for him. You were so goddamn beautiful.
He gripped your thighs, spreading you open, and slammed himself inside you. You swore you could feel the walls behind you shake. He pistoned his cock in and out of you, each thrust hitting deeper spots. You felt like you were breaking in half and coming together at the same time.
“Fuck Kei!!! Feels so fucking good.” You cried into his neck. You could taste the sweat on his skin as he gave all of himself to you.
“So tight, pretty girl. So fucking tight. God you’re so fucking perfect.” He panted into your hair, as he dug his fingertips into your plush thighs.
Your eyes rolled back, stars dancing in your vision. Your cunt clamped down around him, squeezing around his cock tightly. His balls slapped against your ass as he buried himself deeper and deeper into you. You were rapidly approaching your climax, each thrust taking you higher and higher.
Kei bit down on your shoulder, his movements sloppier as he neared his own release. You could feel his body tense, his shoulder muscles flexing under your fingers.
“Cum with me, please y/n. Please pretty girl, cum with me.” He groaned into your ear, and his voice sent you over the edge.
“Oh god, fuck….Kei!” You screamed, and he quickly swallowed your shouts with a kiss. You could feel his cock twitch inside you, unloading streams of cum as your pussy milked every last drop from him. Your combined juices coated the tops of your thighs and you held each other for dear life, both of you gasping for air.
Your legs threatened to give out underneath you and he held you closer, pressing soft kisses to your hair, whispering inaudible words of praise. Your body melted in his touch and the two of you stood there for what felt like hours, but must have only been minutes.
Your phone chimed from the pocket of your labcoat, drawing the both of you from your post-coital haze.
“Shit, tour in twenty minutes.” The two of you scrambled to get dressed and you checked your face in your phone camera.
“Fuck I can’t give a tour looking like this!” You panicked, wiping furiously at your face. Tsukishima laughed, before producing a box of tissues from a shelf behind you.
“I’ll grab some water, though I must say it’s a damn shame since you look so beautifully fucked out.” He teased, before adjusting his tie and walking out. He returned quickly with a water bottle  and you attempted to make yourself somewhat presentable, to his sarcastic yet sweet commentary.
As the two of you prepared to leave the room, he glanced down at you.
“So, dinner tonight?”
You grinned.
“Sure Dino Boy.”
-------
Bonus:
The two of you left the room as nonchalantly as possible, though still a little disheveled from dressing in a dark closet. A booming voice rang out.
“There you two are! Your tour is just about to start, Y/N!” Mr. Hashimoto motioned for you to head to greet the group. As you walked away (and Kei attempted to not stare at your ass), Mr. Hashimoto turned to Kei.
“You know, Mr. Tsukishima. Red is quite a good look for you.”

You just got off the plane, you look around you, a feeling of excitement and euphoria fills your chest in a comfortable warmth, your gaze fixed on the incredible sight you had, you are amazed, it was your first time in London, and since you were a little girl you wanted to visit that wonderful city, You listened to the bedtime stories your grandmother told you, about the city, about what happened before it became as free a city as it is now, since you were 5 years old you have tried countless times to convince her to come with you to London, it was just you two against the world, she raised you in place of your parents, since they never cared much for you and your well being, and now you had just turned 18, and on this school trip you finally have the chance to make your greatest wish come true, you were so excited that it was hard to breathe, until you felt a hand lightly resting on your shoulder, it was your best friend F/n, she was looking at you with a huge smile, she knew how much you had asked your nanny to allow you to make this trip, In fact, you smiled as you remembered the conversation you had with her:
𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒉 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌
"Ahm nanny, can I talk to you? "You said leaning against the frame of the glass door of the living room, the atmosphere around you, was nostalgic, you loved the rain and the cold, your grandmother was sitting in a small brown armchair, old with time, in front of the big fireplace, the glass roof that both of you had built some summers ago allowed you to see the rain falling, even during the night, it was really calming, in her fragile hands was a book, you knew that book well "Ah that book ...." You approached slowly, and like a child you sat on the carpet looking at your grandmother with a gentle but mysterious smile.
"I know that look my dear, do you want to tell me something?" she asked already knowing what your look meant, you sighed through your nose and gave her permission for the trip "Y/n...." she said with a sweet smile, but before she could say something disapproving, you interrupted by putting both your hands on her lap on top of the book.
"Nanny you have told me so many stories about that city, why don't you let me explore, I.... I have saved enough money to be able to afford the trip, besides F/n will be there with me, can I go? I promise to draw everything I see, to show you nanny, but I want to find out who I am, so far I don't know where I belong..." you said sadly, it was true, you had a family legacy that tormented you for nights on end, your grandmother said it was a brotherhood that helped people but in your view they stole people's lives, to protect? It wasn't right, and you never accepted it, and preferred to believe it was just another bedtime story made up by your grandmother to make you a stronger person.
"Y/n... I wouldn't deny it dear, I encourage you to go, I'm too old to keep you here, besides it's only a month, what could go wrong? I just want you to be careful, and not to be fooled by anyone, and take this" she got up from the chair and walked to a wooden box hidden in the shelf, from there she took out a necklace, made with a coin? "This necklace belonged to a very important person, one that you know and that will make you know a better world and discover who you finally are" she gave you the necklace with a smile and let you enjoy it on your fingers.
"Who did it belong to?" you asked, curious about the small necklace that had been handed to you.
"Jacob Frye. That necklace belonged to Jacob" She said would be, but confident, you laughed a little, she looked at you confused.
"Nanny, you know I don't believe in bedtime stories anymore, Jacob Frye and Evie Frye are just characters in your stories, that you told me to put me to sleep, but they didn't exist but thank you for giving it to me, I will wear it proudly, even if it didn't belong to Jacob, it belonged to you and that's worth a lot, and Thank you for letting me go, I'll be eternally grateful," You said kissing her hand and smiling at her "Well now, how about I make you some tea and you read me some of your book of tales, remind me who was who?" she laughed and nodded, watching you disappear into the darkness that surrounded you.
𝑬𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒇𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌
"So excited huh?" she smiled and put her arm over your shoulder, as you laughed a little, it was a strange but warm feeling that you were in a place you had dreamed of so much.
"Of course, I am, you've seen the atmosphere! Can you imagine the adventures we'll have in a month here? I'm so excited I can feel my body energetic, I want to know, I want to visit, being here is just a demonstration that my journey to find out who I am, is going to go well!" you said excitedly as you picked up your bag and moved it to your classmates.
"I like seeing you like this, ever since you found out you were coming here, you've talked about nothing else" she laughed, you smiled shyly, grabbing the necklace your grandmother had given you before you left
"Where does that necklace come from anyway? Did your grandmother explain it to you?" F/n asked as she sat in front of you waiting for the teachers and the rest of the class to arrive.
"Well, she told me it would be useful to me in my future, I didn't quite understand, she said it belonged to one of the Frye twins, the ones she tells in the bedtime stories when we were little" you explained watching and twirling the pendant chained around your neck.
F/n smiled and thought for a moment before speaking, she seemed amused in her own thoughts, it was funny to see her like that you thought to yourself as you heard the teachers calling you to go to the bus.
"Do you think it could be true?" She asked getting up, and following the others, you stopped for a small moment, looked at the necklace, and smiled, Nah... it couldn't be true, could it? Since you were little you knew the story of the Frye brothers, their fight to save London from corruption, their adventures, your nanny loved to tell you those stories when you were younger, when she left the room you stayed awake for hours looking at the stars in the sky, closing your eyes and trying to feel the emotion they had, they were your heroes, you always admired them, but they were just bedtime stories, right? it couldn't be true, maybe your grandmother just said that to remind you of old times? You shake your head and go on your way.
*Time skip*
When you arrived at the hotel you were informed that you were going to make a night tour of the streets of London, you couldn't be more excited, you looked at F/n and she noticed your look immediately.
"I know that look," she said a bit teasingly "tell me what do you want to go and see?" you grabbed her hand and stormed out of the room "ahm calm down young lady, you are going to rip my arm off" you laughed a bit as you got into the elevator.
"You know I'd like to go see Big Ben at night and walk around there, what do you think? we could have dinner nearby, I want to draw the streets at night, to show my grandmother" you answered, going through the small backpack you had, confirming that you had everything there, pencils... sketchbook... wallet... watercolors... phone... you got scared when you heard F/n calling you, you were too lost in your thoughts.
"Hello? land call Y/n I've been calling you for 5 minutes" she looked at you with an amused smile on her face, you looked forward and finally noticed that you had arrived embarrassed, you looked to the side and smiled trying to disguise it "Come on let's go I'm hungry" she pulled you out of the hotel while signaling for a taxi.
As you walked through the streets of London, you imagined what it must have been like in 1850, you were always connected to history and literature, you loved to draw and your grandmother always fascinated you with her stories and her adventures here in London, it was here that she had met your grandfather, would the future also await you with unexpected adventures and romances?
*A few hours later
You were in a cafe near the big ban drawing the environment around you, in a way it seemed magical, it seemed that it wasn't real, you sighed happily while you put back the watercolors and your notebook in your bag, you looked at F/n and a group of friends that were with you.
"I'm going to the bathroom, I'll be right back!" you said, getting up and picking up your backpack, heading for the cafe's bathroom.
"Okay, try not to take too long, we'll be going to the hotel soon" F/n warned you as you walked away.
The bathroom was very rustic, it looked like it was from 1880, that was an interesting thing, when you finished doing what you had to do, you went to the small sink and looked at yourself in the mirror, your hair was tied up in a clumsy bun, and your eyes were more sparkling than usual, a small shade of pink adorned your face, you felt free, inspired, you were ready to have this adventure.
you made a little shell with your hand and took some water on your face to refresh it, when you looked in the mirror you saw a shadow behind you and the light had failed for a few seconds, suddenly you looked back afraid, but... there was no one there, could you have imagined it? Were you so tired that you imagined someone behind you? You took a deep breath, picked up your backpack and headed back to your friends' side, but something unexpected happened, when you left the cafe the atmosphere had changed, it didn't even look like the same cafe you had visited, the people were dressed in an old way, they spoke old English, what had happened? You felt fear invading your mind a little, still quite confused, you approached the bartender in an attempt to get an answer, but he seemed a little surprised to see you, he looked at you from top to bottom, with a disapproving look.
"ahm sorry, but what happened to the cafe? And did you happen to see a group of students on the outside terrace, do you know where they went?" He looked perplexed by what you had said.
"I'm sorry miss but, who are you? and what are those clothes you are wearing? And the student girl? I don't know where you come from but I don't want prostitutes or liars in my pub, if you can get out of here, I would appreciate it" you looked at him outraged, what does he meant by a prostitute? Clothes? Ahm you were really lost, but you respected the gentleman's answer and left, when you left you got an even bigger shock, the environment had changed, there were no cafes, the streets were badly illuminated, the people dressed differently, feeling a wave of fear invading your body you started to run like crazy, looking for someone who could help you, after many panicky minutes and without getting any answer you just sat down in an alley and started to cry, where are you? How could you have stopped there? Not even 10 minutes ago you were with your friends, and now you were alone.
You felt the raindrops wet your body and taking advantage that the rain disguised your tears, you hugged your body and tried to breathe, doubts and fears went through your subconscious until you heard the footsteps of someone approaching you, a feeling of hope invaded you but was soon replaced by fear.
"Hey there doll, want some company for tonight?" a man in his forties approached you, and crouched down beside you, he looked you up and down and examined your body, you tried to get up but he pulled you down and pinned you against the wall.
"You look strange, you don't look like you're from here... but I don't care, you'll do for tonight," he said trying to remove your clothes, you screamed and cried, while that pig undressed you and pinned you to the cold wall, the memories of your grandmother, your friends passed in your eyes while you felt your body being abused, you wanted to escape, you wanted to go home, you weren't ready for this... you should never have come .... out of nowhere you felt his body leave yours, he had fallen unconscious on the floor, you looked forward and saw another man, this one looked to be in his early 20's, his costume was different more hidden, he looked at you and helped you to pull yourself together, when you finally finished you looked up at him, his almond colored eyes bewitched you, he put his thumb on your face wiping the tears that were falling.
"I... I don't know... help me..." You fell to your knees on the ground but your body was held by the mysterious man who had saved your life, you felt safe and somehow protected in his embrace, but you weren't strong enough not to cry once again.
"Shhh love, it's ok" he hugged you tightly and pulled you closer to him "You look a little heated, do you have somewhere to stay?" His voice was husky but mesmerizing, but you couldn't answer as you had collapsed in his arms passed out, the fear, the cold, the pain had overcome the last thing you heard was him asking your name.
𝑱𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒃 𝒑𝒐𝒗
With a sigh the assassin took your face lightly, noting every feature of your face, his eyes slid down your body, it was true what he had heard, the rumors that there was a strange traveler roaming the streets was true, but your clothes looked nothing like what he had seen so far.
The rain fell on your bodies, he was afraid you would get sick, even though he didn't know you he couldn't leave you on the street after what had happened, in one movement he gently picked up your body and took your backpack, and went towards the streets calling for a carriage to take you to the station to take refuge on the train, and take care of you.
Getting into the carriage slowly, so you wouldn't be woken up, not that it would be possible to wake you up because you were fainting from exhaustion, but to prevent it, Jacob put your body on top of his, and with his coat wrapped around you, to warm you up.
"Evie will freak when she sees me... what the-" Jacob stopped his words as his gaze was drawn to the necklace that adorned your neck "How come she has this?" he said holding the necklace in his fingers and looking intensely at you "You really are an unexpected traveler."
The streets of London were bustling, the fight against Crawford Starrick, had not been won yet and there was still a long way to go, but still the streets of London was mesmerizing and agitated, the rain was a strange charm of the city, Jacob knew the streets well, he spent most of his time on the streets freeing people from the clutches of the templar.
But he was curious about this strange traveler, during the early evening some Rooks had told him about this mysterious girl who desperately asked crazy questions to people, some even theorized that she had escaped from some asylum, but Jacob had to see with his own eyes this strange girl who had stopped the city with her unusual appearance.
When he arrived at the station, he saw Grennie carrying some boxes of groceries into the train, and when he approached him with a girl in his arms, Henry ran to meet him helping him out.
"What the hell have you been doing now Jacob? Who this girl?" Henry placed his palm over her face, the heavy breathing and the heat she was eradicating were just signs of a strong fever "This girl is burning up we need to get her to a doctor" He said trying to pick up your body but Jacob refused.
"I am sorry my dear Grennie but unfortunately we can't take her to a doctor, she isn't from around here... I found her because of rumors of a strange traveler in town, but I didn't believe it until I saw her lying on the ground with a Blighter on top of her undressing her, the poor thing was terrified, I couldn't leave her there, but look at the way she looks" Jacob removed his coat a little from over you revealing the clothes your real look. "I don't know where she is from but inside her bag, there is some evidence that she isn't from here, I think it might be useful to us, on our mission... just..." Jacob looked at grennie's face with an abandoned puppy dog look.
"I...I don't know Jacob, Miss Evie will freak out about it, but since she might be useful, we can try to wait until she wakes up so we can ask her who she is" Jacob smiled at the answer, Henry opened the door to Jacob's wagon and helped him lay your body down on the small couch, where Jacob use for sleeping.
"Jacob I just got some news... What is going on here?" Evie said abruptly entering the "room" she looked at Jacob with a disapproving look, she walked over to your body examining you, you are burning up with fever.
"She was helpless with a Blighter on top of her doing God knows what, I wasn't going to leave her there alone, besides she's sick, I felt obligated to bring her here, besides Evie.... She is the girl of the rumors, if what they say is really true that she is not from here, she can be useful to us in this fight." Evie stood up and faced Jacob, she knew he was right but she didn't want to admit it, she knew well that her brother sometimes acted before he thought but at this moment he had the right thing to do.
"We'll take care of her until she recovers and we can get answers from her, we won't leave her on the streets, it's really dangerous, but try to consult me before you bring anyone else here, remember that we have a mission to accomplish, and "personal feelings, can compromise the mission" ". Evie said stroking your hair, "Now both of you get out of here, we can't let her sleep in her wet clothes or she'll get even sicker, and Mrs. Green can call a private doctor to come here to examine her?" Evie smiled sweetly in Henry's direction, who replied just as sweetly, walking off with Jacob, leaving you and Evie alone.

Its a job that puts a roof over her head and she’ll do anything to keep it.
But fate has other plans.
Chapter 1 ~
Akogare (ah-koh-ga-reh)Often translated directly as a sort of frustrated “yearning”, “desire”, or “longing” .
Seoul in summer was a sight to behold. I blinked back against the bright sunlight, staring out into the stunning skyline of the city as the sun rose over it , and although it was just a little past seven in the morning, the air was warm and invigorating. The mid July sun shone down with no mercy, and there was no trace of the rain that had lashed city just the previous night.
It had been three whole years but the relief that came from breathing fresh air, untainted by the damp musk of fishing trowels and sweaty men, was still unrivalled.
I shook off the feather duster in my hand, moving to carefully clean the wicker woven chairs on the artificial lawn in the balcony. Dusting the entire condo down was a mind numbing exercise in patience, so i tried to get it out of the way, early in the morning when my son was still asleep.
At six years old, Junsu was a bright , happy child. Summer vacation meant days sleeping in and evenings spent frolicking with the other kids in the building and he was content with being alone in our small shared room, reading or playing with his toys while I went about the day’s work.
I glanced at the clock, grimacing.
It was almost eight . And although Mr. Kim wasn’t due back home for another twelve hours, I felt a little jittery and nervous.
Kim Namjoon , renowned rapper, producer, writer , poet and what not. The apartment was his but he was usually on tour, traveling all over the world to promote his book and to perform in sold out stadiums. For an A list celebrity, he was surprisingly humble.
For the past three years, him and his model fiancée  Lee Mina had spent a total of maybe seven months in the condo. They were a sweet couple, or so I’d always thought , a bit formal with each other but clearly in love . Mr. Kim was a kind, soft spoken young man and I’d never heard him raise his voice unless he was in the company of his very dear friends.
Just a little over a week ago , both of them  had left Korea for the States , the tabloids screaming about a luxurious destination wedding in the Caribbean and I had been asked to take a few weeks off . The newly weds wouldn’t be back for quite a while and they would let me know when I had to come back to the condo.
I’d been toying with the idea of visiting my in laws in Gwangyog, maybe even dropping by to see some old friends there but yesterday , Mr. Kim’s mother had given me a call letting me know her son was coming home.
The conversation went something like this :
Yang Mi, I hope you haven’t left yet?
No, Ma'am, I haven’t.
Joon-ah is going to be back tomorrow.
Oh, is Ms Lee arriving as well?
No, Just him He’s going to be alone.
Yes, Ma'am.
Please don’t mention anything about Mina or the wedding.
No ma'am of course not.
I’ll drop by later . Cook him something warm and filling. And make sure the house is cleaned well.
Yes, Ma’ am.
]
And that was that.
~~~~~~
It took the better part of the day to finish cleaning and setting up the house . I washed the window slats, changed the sheets, arranged the books that had been left scattered all over his bedroom. The walk-in closet was littered with a bunch of his clothes and I made sure his gym bag was stocked with fresh towels, spare clothes and his favorite head and wrist bands.
For someone so careful and calculated, he was really quite a messy man.
i did his laundry, making sure he had ample clothes at least for another two weeks, creasing the handkerchiefs and carefully removing lint from his jackets.
I also carefully sorted out the feminine clothing from the laundry and from the cupboard, folding them neatly and placing them in the lowest shelf of the closet, where he wouldn’t find them. It wasn’t hard, hiding traces of his fiancee from the condo, because it had never really been her home. other than a few spare pieces of underwear and a couple of t shirts and skirts, there weren’t many articles of clothing belonging to Ms. Lee.
But I still got rid of the bobby pins and hair ties, the spare lip gloss and mascara.
Junsu spent the entire day in our room, reading and drawing, only venturing out every few hours to grab a snack. I left him with his drawing tab ( a gift from Mr. Kim for his 5th birthday )  and his favorite book, asking the security guard at the end of the hallway to keep an eye on the door, while i went out to buy groceries.
Lots of meat, no sea food, healthy snacks and high protein fiber bars. I stocked up on sauces and bought a fresh batch of eggs, oranges and grapes . Mrs. Kim had sent a large amount of kimchi a few weeks ago and that was still in the pantry.
i stopped for a second, staring around at the almost deserted store. Most of the other housekeepers shopped at the bigger, more exclusive store on the other side of the residential complex. But Mr. Kim had a very selective palette, which meant that I had to be very particular about the brands i bought.
When i came back home at around six, Junsu was on the floor in the living space and i felt my heart jump in panic.
“Baby!! I’ve told you not to come out here when I’m not home!” I protested bleakly and he pouted.
“I need to show you my gift for Mr. Kim!!” He said softly. I smiled moving to put away the groceries and glancing at the clock. It was a little past six. I had to call Yungyu.
“Did you draw him something ? “ I asked curiously, checking to see if the beer shelf was stocked. probably should have done that before going out for the groceries, I thought regretfully.
“Yeah! Look!!” Junsu held his tab out and my heart dropped.
For a six year old, Junsu drew very well. And there was really no mistaking the very obvious wedding scene on the screen.
Oh, Good God.
“ That looks amazing honey.” I said gently. “ But, I heard that Ms Lee isn’t coming over this time..”
Junsu frowned.
“Why?”
“Well, I’m not sure. But remember how we spoke about saying the right things? When something upsets someone, we do not bring it up.” I reminded him gently. My son hesitated but nodded.
“Okay. I’m sorry. “ He said softly.
“No baby, its not your fault. It’s just that we want Mr. Kim to be happy right? We don’t wanna upset him...”
He smiled at that.
“When he’s happy, his dimples come out.” He said with a giggle. I laughed.
“yes they do... So let’s try and get those dimples out as often as we can alright? Why don’t you show him that picture you drew of yeontan the other day? He’ll really like that....”
“Okay...but i need to go color it!” Junsu yelled, already running back into our room. I watched him go before reaching for the phone and dialing, Yungyu, the chauffeur.
“Are you on the way here? ” i said briskly.
“Just starting from home...” Yungyu muttered, “ I’m supposed to be on vacation now! Why is he coming back so soon?”
“Just hurry up !! We can’t keep him waiting!!” I said sharply, before hanging up.
I made a quick check of all the rooms, filling up water bottles for his gym routine in the morning and stashing them in the fridge before moving to get dinner started.
i set the water on boil for the stew, before moving to peel cucumbers for the salad. I chopped the cucumber , along with some fresh cherry tomatoes . I watched the water boil, thinly slicing an onion and adding it to the bowl as well. The dressing was pretty simple,  soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey and sesame oil . I sprinkled some sesame seeds on the bowl, used the salad tongs to give the whole thing a nice toss and set it aside.
I braised the chicken first , peeling and chopping potatoes and carrots to add to the stew . In a few minutes, the rich smell of lightly spiced chicken and garlic and perilla  leaves began filling the kitchen and I turned on the rice cooker as well.
The door bell rang at six forty and i opened the door to reveal Yungyu.
I grabbed the keys to the Palisade, handing them over to him.
“Did you hear?” He whispered urgently.
I frowned.
“What?”
“They say Mr. Kim called off the wedding!” He whispered, wide eyed.
I glared at him.
“Who told you that?” i demanded...
“Seojoon from the gate said-”
“Why don’t you ask Seojoon from the gate to mind his own damn business?” I snapped.
Yungyu looked suitably chastised. i felt a little bad. Yungyu was still young and curiosity was hardly a sin.
“His flight lands at eight exactly. Hurry okay?” I said with a smile, ruffling his hair.
He brightened, peering over my shoulder into the house.
“Where’s the little one?” He asked curiously.
“ Painting something for Mr. Kim... Go ahead, hurry up.” I shooed him away, locking the door behind him. I fixed a plate of food for Junsu and sent him to eat, before moving to check on the stew. +
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
By the time eight thirty rolled around I had the table set and ready. I washed my face quickly in the small bath attached to our room , making sure I was dressed well. Junsu wasn’t allowed in the main house unless Mr. Kim specifically asked for him and my son usually stayed in.
Junsu and I stayed in a bedroom , not large by any means but big enough for a queen sized bed, a table and chair for Junsu and small dresser where I kept a comb and a tube of night cream. I stared at my face, licking my lips as I smoothed my hair out.
I glanced at the bed.
Junsu was asleep , having dozed off while coloring his picture and I carefully extracted the tab from under his fingers, moving him around to lay on the soft pillows. I tucked him in gently, brushing the hair off his face.
“In peace , I will lie down to sleep, for You alone will let me rest in safety.” I whispered gently against his forehead, kissing the soft skin. I felt my lips wobble , a debilitating wave of affection flooding me as the sweet scent of my baby, filled my senses.
 I would die for you, I thought fiercely, kissing him again.
The sound of the front door opening made me jump.
Swearing, i smoothed the fabric of my skirt, running to the kitchen.
“Thank you for picking me up Yungyu, I’m sorry you had to cut short on your vacation.” Mr. Kim’s deep voice filled the hallway and I quickly grabbed a glass, filling it with water and placing it on the dinner tray.
“Not a problem, Sir. “ Yungyu’s cheerful voice responded.
“How are you going home?” Mr. Kim asked.
“I’ll take the bus.”
A pause and then,
“Here’s some cash. Get a cab.”
I could hear the relief in Yungyu’s voice as he let out a , “ Thank you sir.”
I fixed his plate carefully, the bowl of rice, the bowl of chicken stew, and the salad neatly arranged next to the napkin and the chopsticks. I heard him move across the condo, the sound of his suitcases as he wrestled them towards his bedroom and I frowned. Yungyu should’ve have brought those in for him.
I finished reheating all of the food and carefully carried the dinner tray to the bedroom.
Mr. Kim’s bedroom was right at the end of the hallway and the door was open. The full length mirror on the opposite wall showed him sitting on the small couch in his room, legs spread and elbows resting on his knees as he ran his fingers through his hair.
I raised my hand, ready to knock on the wood.
“Fuck!” He shouted, kicking out at the coffee table with enough force to send the furniture skidding half way across the room.
I froze in the hallways stunned.
“You’re such a fucking fool , Namjoon !!” He muttered angrily and I swallowed, turning on my heel and quickly walking back to the kitchen.
Maybe I ought to wait till he asked for dinner.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He didn’t ask for dinner.
I stayed sitting on the floor of the kitchen, waiting and lightly dozing as I heard him talk to his parents on the phone. I heard him open the liquor cabinet in his room, the sound of ice sloshing against glass, the sound of whiskey being poured carefully and i sighed.
I had to get to bed. It was already a little past eleven.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sometime in the night, I woke up sweating....
Wondering what woke me up, I blinked groggily, glancing at Junsu. He was still sound asleep.
Sighing, I climbed out of the bed, carefully making my way to Mr. Kim’s room, peering in carefully.
He was asleep on the sofa.
I stared at the way his long legs stretched over the armrest, his lean hips twisted to accommodate his broad shoulders on the couch and I winced. He was definitely going to regret that in the morning.
I stared at the half empty bottle of whiskey on the table and sighed, moving to take off his shoes carefully. He didn’t stir.
I grabbed a pillow from the bed, carefully lifting his head and slipping it under. I placed a comforter over his shoulders, pulling it down to cover his legs.
Force of habit almost made me brush his hair off his forehead but I stopped myself.
The clock on the wall read three fifty am. God, I was going to feel terrible tomorrow. I carefully tip toed out, shutting the door behind me
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I picked the comforter from the floor, carefully folding it and placing it on the bed, before grabbing the empty bottle of whiskey and glass . i could hear the shower running. The curtains were still drawn in and I tugged on the strings to get them to open. Sunlight spilled in through the floor length windows. The bed wasn’t slept in, so I opened the closet to grab a couple of towels, laying them on the bed for him.
The bathroom door opened and i quickly straightened, wanting to race out of the room but it was too late. Thankfully he was dressed,  a pair of loose sweats and a loose t shirt . He was running a towel through his hair and his face brightened at the sight of me.
“Yang Mi! You’re here....” He said cheerfully.
“Good morning sir.” I said softly, offering him a small smile.
He smiled brightly, hair damp and dimples deep. The white t shirt he had on was almost fully soaked through and he shook his head, sending stray water droplets all over the place, a few landing on my cheeks.
“I didn’t see you last night...” He said casually, moving to drop the wet towel in the hamper, grabbing one of the fresh ones I’d laid on the bed.
“I thought you would like your privacy sir, you looked exhausted.”
He smiled.
“ Thank you for the blanket and the pillow by the way. And the shoes.”
I bowed quickly.
“I’ll get your breakfast done, sir.” I bowed again before quickly getting out.
I moved to the kitchen grabbing the oranges I’d got the previous day . Mr. Kim wasn’t fond of traditional korean dishes in the morning. He preferred freshly squeezed juice and toast, sometimes with an omelet perhaps.
I fixed his breakfast quickly, setting it all in the tray . He was still moving around in the bedroom and I heard him drag his worktable to the windows, which meant he was going to stay in the bedroom.
Pouring his coffee into a cup, I carefully picked up the breakfast tray , moving to his room slowly.
I used my foot to knock on the door.
After a pause of a few seconds,
“Come in Yang Mi!”
I carefully moved to the small table in front of the couch, placing the tray right in front of him. The scent of his body wash, green apple and strawberries, hit me hard.
“Where’s Junsu?” He asked casually.
“Still asleep sir. It’s Summer so school’s out.” I smiled, grabbing his phone from the table to make space for his tray.
The phone buzzed just as I was about to place it back down and I blinked.
 Mina calling.......
 I swallowed, not sure what to do, placing the phone down quickly.
“Uh..you have ...” I waved vaguely at the device before bowing again and moving back.
“close the door on your way out, Yang Mi...” He said gently and I quickly obeyed.
I moved to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee for myself. I stayed leaning over the counter and even through the locked door, I could hear him .
“Just don’t call me Mina...i don’t want to talk about this!!!”
I swallowed, glancing out of the window again. It was a bright, clear morning.
A second later, the door to his bedroom slammed open and he stormed out. I watched him from my spot in the kitchen, his fists clenched as he rushed out to the front door.
The door shut behind him and I exhaled.
Once I as done with my coffee, I moved to his room to clear the breakfast tray. His phone was still on the table.
It began ringing again just as I left the room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Mrs. Kim.” i said respectfully, bowing . She gave me a short smile.
“Where’s Namjoon? I’ve been calling him for the past hour.” She pushed past me into the house and I bit my lips.
“He went out about an hour ago. He left his phone behind.” I explained.
She stopped, sighing.
“Fine, I’ll wait for him. “ She moved to sit on the couch, glancing around the room.
“Should I get you something ma'am?” I asked softly and she smiled.
“Get me a glass of lemonade, Yangmi.” She said brusquely and i nodded, running to the kitchen.
“Did Mina come over?” She called out as I got the lemons out of the cooler.
“No ma'am.” i replied.
“Did she call?”
  I remembered the phone ringing, how upset it had made Namjoon, how he had stormed out.
“I don’t know ma'am!” I said softly.
She nodded.
“Okay. You can leave.” She said quietly. i bowed and went back into the kitchen.
I peered out of the window as I fixed her a glass , and my eyes fell on a familiar figure, coming back in through the front gate. Even from this distance there was no mistaking the long legs and messy blonde hair.
I bit my lips, mind racing.
 Mrs Kim and her son had a volatile relationship, to say the least.
And something told me that Mr. Kim was probably not in the right frame of mind to argue with his mother, now. The man was upset but apparently, neither his mother nor his ex fiancée understood that. instead of giving him space they were hounding him.
I hesitated for a second  before making a quick decision.
I grabbed the tray with her lemonade and moved to her quickly.
“Thank you.” She said sharply. “ Turn on the Air Conditioner for me, will you?”
I fumbled with the remote, grabbing his phone from the table , turning it on before moving to the front door and rushing out.
I almost ran into him as he came out of the elevator , and i jerked back stumbling a bit to stop myself from crashing into his chest. He let out a , ‘ Whoa, “  his hands reaching out to grip my elbows.
“Careful. What’s wrong?” He asked gently and I swallowed.
“Your mother’s here.” I said quickly, “ Sir.”
“Oh, fuck.” He groaned. I swallowed.
“You can leave.” I blurted out. “It’s Tuesday. She has her charity work meeting at ten. Its almost nine. She won’t stay long....”
His eyes met mine, lips parting in surprise.
“I really can’t meet her now.” He said apologetically.
I nodded.
“Of course, I understand , sir. Just be back in an hour , she’ll be go-”
The elevator buzzed , the doors nearly closing over my shoulders and I flinched. He swore and stuck his arm out to keep it open.
I stared at him before holding his phone out.
“Here you go sir. “
He chuckled taking it from me and shaking his head.
“i feel like a kid, sneaking away from my mom.” His eyes reached mine, twinkling, “ Who would’ve thought the quiet, timid Yang Mi would be my partner in crime. “
I didn’t reply, just smiled.
And then he hesitated. “ Is Junsu awake?”
I blinked.
“Uh...yes sir,...he’s playing in the park downstairs with the other kids.”
“Great... Would you mind if i take him out for ice cream?”
I stared at him.
“Oh..uh...of course not. Sure.. I mean.. he’ll love that... Sir. Thank you.. You don’t have to -”
“Consider it thank you for helping me with my mother.” He smiled again and i found myself staring at his dimples again. i swallowed.
“in that case, he loves butter scotch.” I smiled.
The dimples appeared and i bit my lips.
“Thank you Yang Mi.” He said slowly.
“Yes, Sir.”

Our Playlist: Fly me to The Moon - Frank Sinatra
Tumblr media
Song Lyric: "Fill my heart with song, And let me sing for ever more, You are all I long for, All I worship and adore."
You hear a knock at your door. "Be right there." You open the door and see Chris with a big smile on his face.
"Hey gorgeous." Chris gives you a hug and kiss.
"Mmm, hi handsome."
He laughs. "You ready to go?"
"Yeah, let me just grab my jacket."
You guys head out the door and you put on your jacket because it's a bit chilly outside. Chris puts his arm around you as you guys walk to his car. He holds the door open as you hop in.
"So where are we going?" you ask as you buckle your seat belt.
"The space museum." Chris smiles as he puts on his seat belt and starts up the car. You notice he has the frog keychain that you bought him from the carnival on his keys.
You smile, "cute keychain."
"Why thank you."
You giggle. He turns to you, "What's so funny, (y/n)? Are you still laughing at the fact that he only has one eye?"
"No, I'm laughing at something else."
"Which is?"
"You said we're going to the space museum, is that why you're rocking the NASA baseball cap?" You tap the brim of his hat.
He gives you a smirk. "You making fun of my favorite hat?"
You shake your head, "No, I like it."
"Okay cool, because if not then we can't be friends anymore."
You gasp and laugh, "what?!"
"I'm totally kidding." He grabs your hand and plants a light kiss on it. You hold hands the whole drive to the museum.
You guys arrive at the museum and Chris holds the hold open for you to get out. He has his arm out for you to link yours with. You smile and link your arm with his as he kisses your forehead and head to the entrance of the museum. As soon as you walk in there's a spaceship hanging from the ceiling. You guys walk up to the counter and pay for your tickets. Chris hands you a map of the museum.
"You choose where we get to start."
You look over the map as Chris stands closer to you and has his arm around your waist, "Hmm, let's start here." you point to the first exhibit.
"Good choice. Let's go."
You lead the way to the first exhibit. Before you guys even get in front of the information panel Chris starts talking about the exhibit. You look at him and smile and then look back at the exhibit as he continues telling information about it. You look down at the information panel and continue listening to Chris. You notice that he almost has the panel memorized. You let out a laugh.
"Wait, do you have this panel memorized, Chris?"
He smiles, "Maybe?"
"How many times have you been here?"
"Too many to count. I've been coming here since I was a kid."
"So last week?" as you nudge his elbow. "I'm kidding."
Chris tickles your side and you squirm, "Hey, you making fun of me again?"
"No, I find it cute that you have this memorized." You give him a hug and he rubs your back.
He kisses your forehead, "Thank you, I just really love space shit."
You shake your head, "Hey, language. There's kids around."
Chris gasps and whispers, "sorry."
You guys stroll through the rest of the museum and Chris tells you about the exhibits as you rest your head on his shoulder. You're surprised that Chris is able to answer all of the random questions you come up with as you admire the exhibits.
"You make a pretty good tour guide, Chris."
"Why thank you, (y/n)." He kisses you on the lips. He then pulls you towards the next exhibit. "Come on, this is my favorite one." You guys come up to a door and Chris opens it and guides you into a giant auditorium. There's no seats, but there's a huge curved screen similar to an IMAX screen. The lights dim and the screen turns on as Chris stands behind you and wraps his arms around you. You lean your head back against his chest and touch his forearms. He leans over and plants a light kiss on your cheek. You smile at the soft touch of his lips. The presentation begins and it's about the moon.
You and Chris watch the screen then you feel him squeeze you and you rub his arms and moan. The presentation starts playing the song 'Fly Me To The Moon' by Frank Sinatra and you notice Chris starts to sway. You smile and then he whispers, "Hey, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah." Chris stays quiet and you turn to face him. "What is it? What's wrong?"
Chris looks down and holds both of your hands. "Nothing." He gives you a little smile. His thumbs caress your hands and he looks at you.
You smile back, "Chris, what did you want to ask me?"
He squeezes your hands, "(y/n), will you be my girlfriend?"
You smile, "I thought I was already." Chris lets out a breathy laugh. You pull him in for a hug. "Yes, I will happily be your girlfriend, Chris." You feel him smile against your lips as he kisses you.
You guys continue stroking through the rest of the museum. You notice there's a gift shop and you pull Chris along. You walk around the shop and you guys come up to a shelf that has hats and shirts. You look at the shirts as Chris skims over the hats and grabs one and puts it on your head. You step in front of the small mirror that's attached to the shelf and adjust the hat. You notice it's the same kind that Chris is wearing. You see him smiling in the reflection.
"Do you want that one?"
"Yes!" You keep it on as you continue looking at the other souvenirs. You end up getting a sticker and a pen.
"You ready?"
"Yeah." Chris takes you to the counter to pay for your souvenirs. The cashier smiles and points for your hat.
"You getting the hat too, miss?"
"Uh, yeah." You quickly take it off for her to scan and she hands it back to you. You tear off the tag and put it on backwards. Chris smiles at you and pays for your gifts.
"Thank you, have a nice day."
"Thanks, you too." Chris grabs the bag and takes your hand and heads out of the museum.
As soon as you guys walk outside you feel the cold breeze. You lean closer to Chris and he wraps his arms around your shoulder.
He gives you a hug, "What do you wanna do now?"
"Hmm, how about we go for a drive?"
"Good idea." Chris opens the door and you hop in. "We just gotta stop for gas and we can head out."
"Okay."
You guys stop at a gas station nearby and Chris asks if you want anything to snack on.
"Uh, snickers and rootbeer if they have any."
Chris gets out of the car and heads inside the gas station. Shortly after he returns and walks to your side of the car and hands you a bag of goodies. You take everything out as he pumps the gas. After he's done he jumps back in the car and you guys head out. Chris is driving with one hand on the wheel while the other is holding your hand as its resting on your thigh. As Chris is driving you ask if he wants some chips.
"Yes please." You grab a chip out of the bag to hand it to him, but instead he leans over so you can feed it to him. "Mmm, thank you." You shake your head and laugh.
Chris continues driving out of the city until you guys reach the countryside. The sun has gone down and all you can see are the outlines of the trees that are on both sides of the road. Chris slows down and pulls over near an empty field and parks the car.
"We're here." He pops open the trunk and grabs something out of the trunk. When he opens the door for you you notice he's holding a blanket.
You give him a weird look, "and where is here exactly?"
"My favorite star gazing spot. Come on." He helps you out of the car. You look up at the sky and your eyes adjust to the darkness. He walks to the hood of the car and lays out the blanket on top. "Come here." You walk towards him and he puts his hands on your waist and picks you up to sit on the hood. He stands between your legs and his hands rub your thighs as you lean in for a kiss.
"Hi."
"Hi." You plant another kiss on his lips before scouting back for him to take a seat next to you. You lean back on the windshield as Chris hops up and lays next to you. He puts his arm around you and you rest your head on his chest. You guys lay on top of his car for hours as Chris points out different constellations. Chris notices that you're getting cold so he hops down from the hood of the car to grab another blanket out of the trunk. He comes back and gets back in his spot next to you. He covers you both and you scoot closer and turn your body towards him and lazily throw your leg over his. You moan at the warm of his body.
"Better?" He asks as he rubs your shoulder.
"Mmm, much better."
He plants a light kiss on your head.
Soon you both fall asleep on the hood of his car.
Chris wakes up by the sound of an airplane that flies over. He slowly turns to you and you're soundly asleep. He smiles. He doesn't want to disturb your sleep, but he looks at his watch and it's 4 o'clock in the morning. He rubs your shoulder and you moan and bury your face into his chest.
He laughs, "hey (y/n), wake up." He kisses you. You moan again and mumble something, but Chris doesn't understand you. "Huh?"
You turn your head up to him, "I wanna sleep."
"Let's get you back inside the car and you can sleep on the drive back home." You groan as Chris pulls you up and helps you off of the car. He wraps you up in the blanket and gives you a kiss as he helps you into the car. Chris leans the seat back for you and you quickly fall back to sleep.
Chris pulls up to your apartment and parks the car. He brushes your hair and calls your name to wake you up. You moan and open your eyes.
"Good morning, (y/n)."
You moan and turn towards Chris as you cover half of your face with the blanket.
He laughs, "you're home."
You stretch out and Chris gets out to help you out of the car. He grabs your hat and gifts from the back seat and walks you to your front door.
"Thanks for today, Chris. I had a lot of fun."
"Me too." He puts his arms around you and gives you a hug. He puts your hat on your head backwards and leans in for a kiss.
You moan and caress his back. "Sleepy", you whisper against his lips.
He laughs and quickly gives you a kiss. "Okay okay."
You reach into your pocket for your keys and open the door. "Wanna join me for a nap?"
Chris smiles, "I'd love to."
You take Chris' hand and pull him inside as he closes the door behind him. He follows you to your bedroom where you both cuddle and fall asleep for a few hours before heading out for breakfast.

Not A Whiskey Drinker Pt. 2
Author’s Note: Oh my goodness thank you all for the positive feedback on NAWD! I’m really enjoying writing this and living out my own fantasy. The DRAMA begins in the part after this so prepare yourself for that!
Warnings: mild cursing
------------
Sunday had passed by quickly and it was now Monday at 8am. Your interview was at 9. You studied your reflection in the mirror. You were wearing the outfit that Parker had helped you pick out but had the shirt buttoned all the way up. Grabbing your bag you and throwing on your shoes you looked at yourself one more time. Chewing the inside of your cheek you took a deep breath.
“Fuck it.” you whispered to and you unbuttoned the top two buttons of your shirt, just as Parker had done previously.
You stood outside a tall office building and looked up. It looked modern and new, but not imposing. Swallowing hard you pushed your shoulders back, raised your head up, and strutted through the front door. Fake it til you make it as they say.
“Hi I’m Y/N Y/L/N.” you said to the receptionist at the front desk. “I have an interview with Mr. Daniels.”
“Ah yes Mr. Daniels has been expecting you. Give me one second and I’ll take you to his office.” said the receptionist.
“Ah it’s okay Sara, I got it.” said a voice from behind you.
Turning around you saw a gorgeous woman. She wore a white button down and black slacks. Her short haircut was modern and cute. It suited her face really well. Thick glasses sat on the edge of her nose. She gave you a kind smile. Looking at her outfit and her appearance in general you suddenly felt self conscious. Maybe you should’ve stuck with the fully buttoned up shirt.
“I’m Ginger.” she said, extending her hand.
You took her hand in yours as you introduced yourself and the two of you walked to the elevators.
“So you have an interview with Jack?”
You nodded.
She laughed a little and it almost seemed like she was taking pity on you.
“He’s a good guy, but he’s definitely a character. He means well though.”
You smiled back. New York City was definitely filled with interesting and strange people. Your mind quickly thought back to the cowboy you met on Friday.
The elevator dinged and stirred you from your thoughts. Ginger guided you to a pair of mahogany doors.
“Well. This is where I leave you. Good luck Y/N.”
“Thank you.”
Taking a deep breath you knocked on the door and waited. A second later you heard some footsteps and you mentally prepared yourself for whoever was inside. The door swung open and your jaw dropped. You couldn’t help it.
Before you stood the same cowboy that had prevented your fall. Quickly you snapped your jaw shut. He was just as handsome as you remember, if not more handsome. He was still wearing his black stetson. Instead of the long camel coat he wore when he was in the park he was wearing a blazer with matching slacks. The blazer had a classic cowboy look but was still somehow modern. You flicked your eyes down to confirm your guess, he was wearing cowboy boots. He was wearing a pair of simple wire glasses and they looked good on him.
“Well isn’t this a coincidence?” said the man, “Come in, please.”
He stepped aside allowing you to enter the office.
For as modern as the building appeared, Mr. Daniels’ office felt lived in and warm. It was covered in mahogany and leather. An old globe sat on a shelf and other bits and bobs decorated the office, including what appeared to be a cow skull. You didn’t realize you were staring until Mr. Daniels’ honeyed voice made you blink.
“It’s real if that’s what you’re thinking.” he said.
You turned and realized he was much closer than you thought, practically close enough to touch you. You swallowed hard. He smelled good.
“Well let’s get started, shall we?” he said, stepping back and motioning to a chair that sat in front of his desk.
Wordlessly you moved to the chair and sat down. The whole act of confidence you had suddenly vanished. Mr. Daniels was slightly intimidating and holy hell was he attractive.
“Now Y/N — you don’t mind if I call you that?” Mr. Daniels asked.
“Y/N is fine yes.” you said, slightly unsure about the familiarity. Your previous job you were never addressed by your first name, it was always Ms. Y/L/N.
“Would you like something to drink?” he asked, swiveling in his chair to grab a bottle of whiskey and two glasses from behind him.
You smiled, appreciating the offer but politely declined.
“I’m actually not a whiskey drinker.” you said. Mr. Daniels laughed loudly as if he knew something you didn’t.
“I know it’s odd that I’m here interviewing for a whiskey company Mr. Daniels—
“Please, call me Jack.” he interrupted.
“…Jack,” you said slowly “but I promise I’ll be dedicated even if it’s not my drink of choice.”
Jack smiled and poured himself a glass of the amber liquid. Leaning back in his chair he studied you. Feeling his gaze on you, you gave him a small smile, trying to convince him that you really would work hard.
“Well Y/N,” he said after a second, “you got the job!”
Your brows furrowed. There was absolutely no way he was serious. He only asked if you wanted a drink, the company’s drink no less, and you said no. No interview questions, no asking for documents or recommendations. Nothing.
“I know you might be surprised but here at Statesmen we like to do things a little differently. And don’t worry about not liking whiskey. Who knows though, you may warm up to it.” he said, giving you a wink.
“This certainly was the easiest interview I’ve ever done.” you whispered under your breath. But according to the booming laugh that came out of the man sitting in front of you, your whisper wasn’t quiet enough.
“I assure you Y/N that you’ve already gone through an extensive interview process. The company has contacted past employers of yours and done copious amount of research and background checks into your resume. It may have been easy on your end, but not on ours.”
‘Certainly the weirdest interview I’ve ever done too.’ you thought.
“Well!” said Jack, clasping his hands together and standing up from his chair. “You start tomorrow. Let me give you a quick tour so you can settle in easy tomorrow.” In a flash he was around the desk and holding his hand out to you, a million dollar smile on his face.
Letting out a short breath you pushed away your anxiety and trepidation. If this was gonna be your new job you may as well start acting like your normal self. You grabbed his hand with assurance and stood up from your seat.
Neither one of you moved.
Standing there your eyes were glued to the sight of your hand being dwarfed by his. Slowly your eyes moved up to meet Jack’s. They were the most gorgeous shade of brown. Dark but still with a warmth and spark that drew you in. The glasses he wore framed them perfectly. Subconsciously you lightly bit your bottom lip. You blinked and the trance was broken. Slowly you removed your hand from his, but your palm was still tingling from the skin to skin contact.
“Thank you by the way.” you said breaking the silence.
Jack gave you that smile again and it felt like your internal organs had been turned to soup.
“Don’t worry about it darlin’. I’m quick on my feet and happened to see a beautiful young woman in need so I helped.”
You almost choked at the words he spoke.
“Let me show you to your space.” said Jack, his hand moving to lightly sit on the middle of your back.
In any other professional circumstance if someone did this to you you’d immediately call HR. In this instance however Jack’s gesture felt comforting and gentlemanly, not creepy and an intrusion of personal space. To summarize, you enjoyed his touch.
The two of you strode out the doors and walked a short distance down the hall to a door. Leading you inside Jack explained how this would be your personal office. You had never had a private space just for yourself in your workplace. You laughed softly.
“Something funny?” said Jack, looking down at you, hand still on your back.
“Never had my own space before. This place is almost bigger than my apartment.” You looked up at him with shining eyes. Jack swallowed thickly. Your big eyes were something else and certainly affecting him.
“Hah. Well I just hope you don’t move in here! Gotta have a separation between work and play.” said Jack, winking at you.
You could feel your face heating up at the comment as Jack led you out of the room and your heart was beating faster than it should’ve. Unbeknownst to you, so was Jack’s. He wasn’t expecting his new PA to be the gorgeous girl from the park. Admittedly he had thought about you a couple times since, beating himself up for not inviting you to coffee or something.
Outside of your new office stood Ginger.
“Ah sweet Ginger!” said Jack, removing his hand from your back. You silently mourned the loss of contact.
“This is my new peach of an assistant Y/N.”
“I know Jack.” said Ginger, rolling her eyes. “How do you think she found your office?”
“Always one step ahead Miss Ginger.” said Jack, flashing his smile again.
“Come with me Y/N and we’ll get you put in the system.”
“Pleasure meeting you darlin’ and I cannot wait til tomorrow.” said Jack, winking one last time before turning on his heel and sauntering back into his office.
“Is he always like that?”
“He’s always been a ladies man. You may be his assistant but make sure he knows who’s in charge. Keep him on a short leash.”
------------
“So how was it?” Parker asked, taking a bite out of her pizza. She had come over to eat dinner with you and get all the juicy details about the job interview.
“Weird. I mean I got the job, but it was still weird.”
“First off yay! Secondly, what do you mean weird?”
“Well the building was way more high tech than I expected but the thing that was the weirdest was the interview itself. The only thing he asked me was if I wanted a glass of whiskey.”
“To which you said no.”
“Yeah…” you trailed off.
“I know that look Y/N. What’s on your mind?”
“Jack Daniels is the cowboy from the park.”
Thankfully Parker had swallowed her bite of pizza before hearing this, otherwise there’d be a chewed up wad of cheese on your floor.
“WHAT?”
“He was acting kind of flirty too.”
“So you did unbutton the shirt!” Parker said, a look of pride on her face.
“Parker that’s not the point. Afterwards when I was talking to the head of networking and media she explained that Jack is like this with every woman. The hat I need to show him who’s in charge, even if he is my boss.”
“That’s hot.” said Parker taking another bite.
“Shut up he’s my boss.” you said, pushing her shoulder. “I get what she’s saying though. I’ve dealt with guys like that before. Admittedly they were in their 20s and went to the same college as me and weren’t actually adults who I worked with.”
“How old does this guy look anyways?” Clearly Parker had a different agenda than you.
“Parker…” you gave her a glare.
“Okay okay message received.” she put up her hands in mock defense.
You looked down at your pizza slice and picked at the bit of cheese that had slid off of it.
“So how’re you gonna fend him off while still creating a good relationship?”
“Guess I gotta use that stubbornness you were talking about earlier.” you said giving her a small grin.

AD INTERVIEW
Tumblr media
Other parts
Jared Padalecki
Misha Collins
Jensen Ackles
This part sucks ass but I low key like it. I’ll probably end up redoing it soon
"Hello welcome Ad" I say opening the front door for the camera crew and Alex comes up behind me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"I'm Yn Calvert" I say.
"And I'm Alexander Calvert, come right in" he says and I smile up at him.
"This house was built by my great great grandmother when she was in her 20's and then it was a gift to my great grandparents on their wedding night and then it was given to my grandparents and then my parents and then when Alex and I got married my mom handed us the keys" I say.
"We're currently in the middle of upgrading and rebuilding everything and we've been working on it for three years now" Alex says.
"This is our living room" I say as we walk in to it.
"This is honestly my favorite room in the house, when we're actually staying here the boys and I spend a lot of time in here, playing games, playing the piano and having quiet reading time" I say.
"I learned with kids a while ago that we can't have all the fancy things and I'm cool with with that because I enjoy the family vibes we created" I say going to the wall that holds all the photos.
"This is Misha on his first day of kindergarten" I say pointing to the photo.
"I cried harder than he did" I say laughing.
"This is a picture from our wedding night, I adore this picture so much because all of the couples can be seen dancing around us, I remember this moment because Flicker by Niall Horan was playing and at that point it was one of my favorite songs and right there you can see Jared and his wife being all cute" I say pointing it out.
"All the art you see in here is made by two of Yn's sisters who run an art shop" Alex says.
"They've been painting ever since we were young and the work they put out is amazing and every time we get a visitor they always ask where I got it from and I can easily promote my siblings" I say laughing.
"Over here is our kitchen" Alex says walking up the two step departing our kitchen from our living room.
"We tore down the wall because we wanted the open space, all the natural light and when I'm making dinner I can keep an eye out on the kids and they can eat their snacks at the table and watch tv or play the game while I'm doing whatever I need to do" I say.
"Let me show you my favorite part about the kitchen" Alex says leading them over to the sink.
"Yn cooks dinner pretty much every night which leaves me and the boys with the clean up and they like how big the sink is" he says showing off our farmhouse sink.
"Makes washing dishes so much easier and Aj use to take a lot of baths in here" he says patting the sink and I laugh.
"You sound like you're trying to convince everyone to get one" I say and he laughs with me.
"Maybe I am" he says taking them to the other room.
"Over here is where our dining room was but we don't use it so we made it into a branch off living room" Alex says.
"We celebrate the holidays here and it's perfect for Christmas when we have our families and friends here and the living room is taken, we have these two ceiling chairs and then some cushions and bean bags I like to think of it as a sort of cozy corner, this usually turns into the kids hang out spot when there's a group of them because we have the gaming tv here and they can just lounge and enjoy whatever game they are playing" I say.
"The backyard is what I'm probably proudest of" I say opening the folding sliding glass doors and we step outside.
"We have the pool over there completely gated off because Aj can't fully swim yet and he likes to play outside when I'm on the patio writing" I say.
"And on that side we have the boys playhouse from Charmed Playhouses, Yn seen a picture of one and she fell in love with them and decided that the boys needed to have a Harry Potter themed playhouse" he says.
"It's literally so cool in there, I should have just walked you to the playhouse and did a tour of that" I say laughing.
"We got Harry Potter because I've always been a massive fan and Misha when he was around three he fell in love with it and I knew I had to do it plus it's perfect for both boys and girls" I say.
"Now up the stairs on the right we have the office" I say sliding the glass sliding door open and stepping inside and Alex follows me in.
"There's not a lot here" I say.
"We're currently working on expanding this room because Alex has his desk and I want a space where I can put all of my art stuff so we're in the middle of that" I say.
"This is also where Yn keeps her awards because she's too embarrassed to show them off so she keeps them tucked away up here where she can glance at them to remind her that she can always be better" he says moving the picture frames they are behind.
"This is the hallway" I say and Alex laughs.
"Yn loves this hallway" he says.
"I do, I love it so much" I say giggling and I stop walking.
"This is why I love this hallway so much" I say pointing at the pictures.
"My family is very big and very all over the place. From my birth dad I have six siblings and on my moms side I have five and it's like crazy trying to get everyone together and when I found out I was pregnant with Mish everyone came and they showed up and I managed to get a few decent shots out of it" I say laughing.
"And next to that I have my all time favorite picture of me and my baby sister Zendaya at the oscars in 2015. It's a photo from the red carpet and I was telling her I was pregnant and this was her reaction" I say laughing.
"Moving on, the first room we have belongs to Misha, they are both down for a nap right now in Aj's room so I can show off Misha's room" I say opening the door and stepping inside.
"My mom actually designed this room for him and she put it together while we were in Canada while Alex was filming so we came back to it and it was a nice surprise, Misha loved it more than anything" I say laughing.
"She got him a moving bookshelf and every time we go to the store he asks for a book so he can add them to the book shelf so that way no one will know which books opens the bookshelf" he says tipping the book back and it slides open.
"This is his 'hey Misha clean your room bub guests are coming' hiding spot" I say.
"Gets the job done" Alex says and I laugh rolling my eyes.
"Until I have to come in behind him and clean it" I say.
"This is the game room" I say.
"It has all of the games your mind could ever imagine" Alex says opening the doors under where the tv sits and it is stuffed with games.
"Texas thunderstorms have taught us that we can never have enough games or candles to entertain us when we lose power or when it storms so much the boys are up all night" I say.
"Next is our bedroom" I say stopping at the closed double doors and I push them open.
"This is where the magic happens" he says and I laugh rolling my eyes and I step in.
"Our bedroom was one of the first things we did when we moved in, we tore it apart and with the help of my best friend slash Alex's fake father and his wife and we rebuilt this room in about two to three weeks and it was like the best time of my life" I say.
"In this little hole is where we keep Misha when guest come so we can pretend we did all the work around here" he says and I laugh.
"You're an idiot" I say and he laughs with me.
"This is a laundry chute, there's one in the main rooms such as ours, Misha's and Aj's and they can just send the clothes right to the basket which then I can just dump into the washer" he says and I nod.
"Plus there's never any clothes lying around, everyone should have one of these" I say.
"Through here is our bathroom and closet" he says opening the door and we go inside.
"It's just a bathroom it's nothing special to me but to Yn it is everything" he says and I press the button and the shelves come out the cabinet.
"It's my vanity but when I'm done I can put it away and not worry about anything getting messed up ever and I love it because everything is unorganized but you can't see the clutter" I say getting off of the pouf and I go into the closet.
"This is probably the most extreme room we have in our house because honestly I'm addicted to shopping and I need the space. I always wanted like the closet that Hannah Montana had and I didn't get it but honestly this one has hers beat so I'm not complaining" I say and Alex laughs.
"Like I said about the bathroom I don't get it" he says and I laugh.
"And the last room" I say opening the door showing off the nursery and I step inside them following me.
"You're the first ones that aren't apart of our inner circle to find out and we want to use this video as an announcement" Alex says and I nod.
"This nursery is for our princess who we are happy to announce will be born in four months" Alex says. "January 1st" I say smiling at the camera.

Mall Crawl (Mer!Pillarmen AU)
Aja Mall was closed for the night.
Locked shut and deserted, there was nothing stirring in the establishment in the darkness of night. A few dim lamps remained on, but otherwise, it was all darkness and quiet, save for the stagnant drips of the main lobby fountain.
The fountain, however had been leaking for a while, and a few stray splashes dampened the smooth tiled floor. By sheer chance, some of the water began to drain onto a ledge, where it leaked down to the lower ground floor art exhibit, and dribbled onto a set of statues, ancient stone sculptures proudly on display in the historic gallery, and depicted, carved in repose, four masculine figures in repose, each sporting a great fish's tail below their waist.
Except they weren't sculpted at all.
As the leaking water moistened them the stony shells began to soften and crumble away. All they needed was water, something they had been deprived of for ages, what with the museum's insistence on keeping these priceless artifacts dry, and took great care to ensure that not a drop of water touched them.
But now it did, and for the first time in four thousand years, the figures began to move again.
With a wet slap one of the figures, bearing a dull, silvery-gray tail and sporting a single horn upon his head, dropped out of the stone and onto the wet floor. Groggily he looked about. This wasn't the temple of the ancients, he thought, turning his attention toward the other figures still encased in stone. This was a strange foundation carved out by those...those primitives, who walked on the land.
"Lord Kars...Lord Esidisi..." he mumbled, as he crawled across the floor on his powerful arms, toward the other two figures. "Our time has come again..."
Scooping up some of the water that had pooled on the floor in his webbed hands, he splashed it onto the two stone figures that had lain on either side of him for decades. His eyes, suited for darkness, grew wide with anticipation as he watched their rocky cocoons slowly melt away.
"Awaken, my masters!" he cried.
A wet flop on each side soon followed as the other two mermen burst from their shells, which they had formed to survive drying out when water was withheld from them. There they had slumbered for millennia, until a fluke of events awekened them once again: in a changed new world they did not recognize.
"Wamuu..." Kars groaned hoarsely, as he pushed himself up by his arms. "W-where are we?"
"I know not where we have found ourselves, my lord," Wammu replied respectfully with a bow. "We shall soon see."
"We appear to be above the surface, judging by the lack of water," Esidisi added, stretching out his fiery orange tail with a yawn. "Our first priority should be to return to the sea...Lord Kars?" He suddenly added, confused, as he saw his wild-haired superior dragging himself away, clearly interested in something else.
"Fascinating..." Kars muttered to himself, as he slithered down the art hall, his violet tail trailing behind. "We appear to be in the hall of the primitives, how they have advanced over the years..." He continued crawling, while Esidisi urgently squirmed after his high lord.
"Lord Kars, we don't have time...the call of the sea awaits us!" he called out. Kars shot back a wicked smile. "The ocean can wait, Esidisi. There is something more of interest I desire to see."
Wammu followed the two with several heavy flops. "My master, what about Santana?"
Kars sneered as he pulled himself onward. "Leave him, Wamuu. He isn't important." Wamuu sadly nodded and followed behind the other two.
Hauling and dragging themselves forward in a display of ungainly strength, they began to slowly make their way along the hall. It sported a gallery of artistic wonders of the ancient world --which moments ago included themselves-- before the pathway opened up into a wide open space, filled with strange rooms and odd structures, and a window in the ceiling that let the bright moonlight in.
Soon the three mermen began to explore the strange cathedral of the landfolk that they found themselves in. It was more difficult for them to move without water, but the strange, smooth floors, more polished than any of them had ever seen, was easy for them to pull their heavy bodies across with only the power of their arms.
They gazed around in fascination and amazement as they heaved themselves along, eager to see more like three very unusual tourists, glancing about at the sights in wonder. To human eyes the mall was all but darkness: but their eyes were designed for the pitch depths of the sea, and could partake in the colorful splendor a landwalker could only enjoy in the daytime.
"Their structures are marvelous," Wammu exclaimed, sliding his way over to a set of metal steps. A red button glowed faintly at its base, and the horned merman curiously inspected it, while elsewhere, Kars clawed his way forwards into a small room, where strange, colorful fabrics hung in hooks and lines.
"Splendid, very splendid," he said, reaching up as high as he can from his position on the floor to pull down one of the fabrics. It felt soft and velvety to the touch, though to Kars's disappointment the garment was too small to fit his toned muscular body when he tried to put it on, leaving his upper arms and belly comically exposed.
"Nonetheless, their fashion is admirable," he mumbled to himself. "I sure shall miss their beautiful art when we eventually destroy their puny race..."
"Lord Kars!" Esidisi urged, as he wriggled his way into the store. "Now is not the time for distractions, we must find a way back to the ocean!"
"A few moments could not hurt," Kars snapped irritably, as he tried on a fancy hat on display, which he struggled to squeeze onto his horned, purple-maned head that was far too big for it.
Outside the small shop Wamuu had been fiddling with the metallic steps, trying to see how they moved and worked. He pressed the small buttons that gleamed from the bottom, testing to see if anything would happen--and to his surprise, the steps began to move, with him still on it.
Wammu was gripped with panic as the steps carted him upwards, toward an unknown destination. His frightened surprise, however, turned to amazement as he realized that the steps had guided him to a second floor of the establishment, full of other things he otherwise could not access from below.
"This must be how they go from level to level," he mused.
Downstairs, Esidisi tried in vain to reason with Kars, who seemed to be more interested in taking the fashionable items of the landwalkers than he was at getting back to the sea.
"Does this dress accentuate the splendor of my tail?" Kars asked with a hint of seduction in his voice, as he lay on his side to show off the flowing skirt he had pulled from one of the shelves.
"Anything, anything looks marvelous on you, my lord!" Esidisi pleaded. "But we have greater things to be accomplished! Where is Wammu!?" he demanded.
"I have come, my masters," Wammu called out from the top of the moving steps, followed by a full minute of awkward silence as he slowly but surely descended while he sat on one of the steps.
Esidisi grimaced in confusion, as Wamuu finally reached the bottom of the steps. "What a ridiculous place."
In the meantime, the leaky fountain back at the gallery had begun to flood the art exhibit, moistening the petrified form of the one left behind-- Santana. He emerged coughing and groaning onto the wet floor, and he thrashed about in confusion until he finally caught his bearings.
His heart sank as his eyes fixed onto the three empty holes in the stone wall. Once again, his masters had abandoned him. He had always felt lesser than they were, but this was a low blow, even for Kars.
Now he was all by himself in a strange deserted environment on land, and his grief and frustration soon gave way to another sensation-- hunger. He needed to find some food after so very long.
Guided by his keen sense of smell, Santana began to crawl across the smooth tiles, in the opposite direction the others had gone. There was surely something to find within the empty construction, he thought, as he made his way, arm over arm, toward an opening in the end of the hall.
His red-magenta tail began slapping the floor eagerly as he crawled, as he caught a familiar salty scent as he entered a strange chamber, one prominently lettered with the symbols "S-U-P-E-R-M-A-R-K-E-T": if Santana had known how to read, which he didn't.
Dead fish lay neatly arranged on trays of ice, and Santana reached up and grabbed them hungrily, feasting on them cold and raw. He devoured one or two before something else caught his attention, small colorful bags that were lined up on a shelf. He crawled his way over and reached out to grab one.
He popped open the bag with his sharp claws to find that it was mostly filled with air, but inside were small, brittle chips. He shoveled some into his mouth, and savored their salty flavor and crisp texture. Landfolk food was new and appealing to the redhead merman, and he wanted more. He crawled from aisle to aisle, pulling boxes from shelves low enough for him to reach and feasting eagerly on their curious contents.
Elsewhere in the mall, Kars had concluded his tour. He had adorned himself with all sorts of apparel he could find, necklaces, hats stacked on top of each other, slippers worn on his hands as he had no feet. He was a crawling fashion disaster, and had Wamuu and Esidisi not feared their highlord's furious might, they would have laughed.
"I am satisfied," Kars grinned, shuffling his way over to a shiny door to admire his reflection, flicking his tail pridefully.
"Now my lord, shall we try to seek the ocean?" asked Esidisi through gritted teeth and restrained laughter.
"We shall, my friends," Kars replied. "All water comes to the sea or leads to it...first we must find the source and follow it to freedom".
Propelled by their muscular upper halves, while their scaly lower halves, practically useless outside the water, dragged along behind them, the mermen made the slow, arduous journey toward where they soon found the pipes that led to the mall's drainage system. Gazing down into the canals, they saw the water was cloudy, and the mermen were hesitant, but they knew it led out to a river and into the sea, and whatever filth was in the water was well worth their trouble.
Esidisi jumped in first, followed by Wamuu, who felt the relief of the water's weightlessness and refreshing coolness after so many centuries. Kars came last, gazing hesitantly at all his attire that he'd haphazardly piled onto his body.
"A shame I have to ruin these...a small price to pay for freedom." He closed his eyes and threw himself into the murky water, hats, dresses and all.
Now all they needed was to find the sea.
Back at the supermarket, Santana continued his sampling of the land food, unaware of the others' departure. Soon he had eaten his fill, and curiously sought to see more of this unusual place.
Crawling out of the transparent doors of the shadowy room, he found himself outside of the building. He was under the open air, with the moon shining above, and before him was a large flat rock on which drove strange carriages with glowing lights, while in the distance tall buildings towered up in the sky: nothing like the human cities Santana remembered ages before.
He tried to crawl forward, but the large flat rock was rough. Rougher than the smooth floors of the mall, and painfully scraped his belly, elbows, and the underside of his tail. Santana groaned with discomfort, but stubbornly continued on.
But he wasn't alone.
(Y/N), a security guard of a neighboring building, had just ended their shift at 2AM and were preparing to go home, traveling down the sidewalk toward the bus stop.
And the last thing they expected to see, so late at night, was a naked man struggling prone on the sidewalk, his long vermilion hair wet and glistening.
Except he was no man at all, (Y/N) realized, as it dawned on them at a closer look that where his legs should have been, was instead a glittering, scarlet tail with bright magenta fins.
"H-holy shit," gasped (Y/N), dropping their coffee cup in shock.

Let Me Touch You Pt 6 | Feysand
High school AU. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 7
The next time Rhys and Feyre were alone was when they had all and gotten back to Mor's place, only for Mor to suddenly remember she was supposed to be in tutoring at the library today and had to leg it back to the school.
Rhys had started making more of a point to walk home with them. He used to make a beeline straight out of his last class and beat them home, but now he hung back on the days Feyre studied with Mor. At first, Mor had looked at him weirdly, and he had asked Feyre if she minded. She shook her head, blushed, and tried very hard to be cool about it in front of Mor.
Now they were left standing in the doorway, Mor's dust still settling, and Feyre didn't know what to do. Without a third person, the electric hum settled itself back over them. Feyre rubbed her arms as it crackled over her skin.
"Well, I guess I'll just go home then," she said lamely. "Don't," Rhys said. "I'm your friend too, you know." You are? Out loud, she said, "Okay," and put her bag down in its usual spot. Rhys put his hands in his pockets.
"Did Mor ever give you a tour of this place?" he asked her. "No, but I imagine it'd take a week." Rhys laughed. "Nearly. Do you want me to show you around?" Actually, Feyre did want to see the rest of the house. She had pretty much only been in the foyer, kitchen, and Mor's room.
So Rhys walked her around- up the spiral staircase, down long corridors, into plush sitting rooms that had such rich colours Feyre's fingers itched for paint. And then into his bedroom.
Feyre stared around the room. She thought maybe it'd be dark like his wardrobe, sparse and monochromatic. But it was so warm in here. The walls were a creamy colour, and the curtains were pulled back so that late afternoon sun poured in. Rhys' bed was in the corner, with soft looking, dove-grey sheets. He had a big wooden desk with a laptop on the close edge, the rest of it scattered with paper and coloured pencils. On the far wall leaned an acoustic guitar. And dotted through the room, on shelf edges and table corners and hanging on the arm of a lamp, were little clay sculptures.
Feyre tried not to smile at them, but they were so funny. Little alien creatures, faeries, fantastic animals with pointed ears and bat wings. Some had been brightly painted, but most were glazed simply in a light eggshell colour. She loved them.
"So... yeah, this is me," Rhys said. He stood with one hand in the pocket of his jeans, and the other on the back of his neck. The contrast of this serious, black-clad trouble maker with his whimsical, funny room made Feyre laugh out loud. She clamped her hand over her mouth as soon as it escaped.
"What?" Rhys asked, uncertain now. "Nothing," Feyre said. "I just... didn't expect your room to look like this." "What were you expecting, metal posters and weed smoke?" "Well... yeah, kinda." Now Rhys grinned. "Okay, okay, I'm still cool. Come on, I'll prove it to you."
He led her then back downstairs, through the house and into the garage. He flicked on the lights, and gestured for Feyre to walk through. With Mor's parents gone, it was mostly empty, save for a dusty, old looking, black and silver motorcyle. Feyre’s jaw dropped.
"Is that yours?" she asked. "It was my mother's, I'm fixing it up." "Woah," Feyre said. "Your mom must have been so cool." "You know, I was going for you thinking that I'm cool but yes, she was super cool." Feyre stepped forward to get a closer look.
"Can you ride it?" "Yeah, it runs okay." Feyre had to admit. This was pretty freaking cool.
"Do you want go for a ride with me?" Rhys asked. Feyre balked. "What like... right now?" Rhys grinned. "Sure." And dammit Feyre really, really wanted to. What eighteen year old girl didn't, right?
xxxxxxxxx
Rhys couldn't believe it had worked. He was for sure hoping that the motorcycle angle would earn him some points, but he didn't expect to be here, zipping her into his spare jacket.
And fuck if she didn't look drop-dead sexy wearing it. Rhys had to take a deep breath to stop his fingers shaking as he pulled the zip up her body.
You're putting her in clothes, not taking them off her, he reminded himself. Still, between her looking adorable in the oversized leather, and the clothes being his that she was now wearing, the effect was... destabilising. Rhys handed her a helmet and gloves, too, and then hauled on his own gear before stepping over the bike.
"Okay," he instructed. "See those pegs there? Those are for your feet. Yep, that's it. And you'll have to hold onto me, and and try let yourself lean with the turns and not away from them. Does that make sense?"
He looked back and Feyre nodded, then slipped her arms around his waist. A broad grin spread over his face at the thought of her little body curled around his, and when she shuffled closer, he was half delirious. He gunned the engine.
In the end, it was all over way too fast. They went for a ride through the town and into the city, then looped back to the house to pick up her bags before he dropped her home. Feyre stepped off the bike, took the helmet off and if the image of her shaking out her gorgeous, pear-scented hair hadn't stopped his heart, the adrenaline-flushed smile as bright as daylight that was painted all over her face would have done it.
He packed away the jacket, helmet and gloves as she removed them, and before she went through her front gate she gave him a swift kiss on the cheek that had him in absolute ribbons. That strange, heaviness in the air that she always brought lifted as she walked away, but now it just made him feel untethered.
Rhys watched her walk into the house, then turned around and rode home. The whole time, his mind replayed the squeeze of her arms around him and the press of her chest against his back through the leather, and by the time he got home he was going out of his fucking mind. He walked straight past a mid-sentence Mor, into his bedroom, and locked the door.

Alright alright that's enough of this fluffy filler shit we about to escalate. I don't know about this chapter but the next one is my favourite.

Pins and Needles  pairing: George Weasley x American !Gryffindor Reader Summary: Who knew that the shy new kid had a way with sewing? To George, that’s pretty cool.  TW: fluffy 💕💕 2.4K Words
   You looked around your dorm and began to unpack. You came in a week after term started and you needed to unpack your things. Luckily, it was Saturday and lessons wouldn’t be a problem. Everyone was buzzing about the weekly trip to Hogsmeade in the halls, and it peeked your interest. Sure you didn’t have anyone to go with, but this could be a good way to make some friends.
  You had just arrived in England from America, and had just started Hogwarts. Everyone was a stranger here, and you were on the lookout for some new people to hang out with.
  You pulled a hoodie over your T-shirt and tightened the laces on your boots before locking your dorm and running downstairs into the courtyard where everybody was waiting for the sendoff. You showed McGonagall your signed permission slip and joined the group.
  The walk was rather pleasant. You took in the scenery, all the trees with red yellow and brown leaves falling in the breeze and the sound of branches rusting against each other filled the air as you and the rest of year 5 of Hogwarts walked to Hogsmeade.
  Hogsmeade was a cute little town, with shops and cafe’s and cobblestone streets. You walked along the cobble and followed the rest of the kids as you didn’t know the area very well. You saw a majority of people go into a place called Honeydukes.
  From the moment you stepped inside you could tell why that place was so popular. The shelves were loaded with sweets and tricks, excited people grabbing stuff like crazy. You walked along the shelves, half of the treats you haven’t even heard of. Bertie bots and chocolate frogs and pumpkin pasties... I guess a chocolate frog sounded good. You had a few coins in your pocket, why not?
  You picked one off the shelf and began to walk as you read the labelling. You were so distracted that you didn’t even realize the person standing in front of you...
  ‘Oof!’ You fell over on your knees, the small candy falling out of your hand. ‘Oh shoot, I am so sorry-’
  ‘Nah, It’s alright. Need help?’
  You grabbed the strangers hand and hoisted yourself up. You were met with a pair of hazel eyes and flaming red hair. This mystery guy had a spattering of freckles across his cheeks and nose. He gave you a small smile and handed you back your frog. ‘Think you dropped this.’
  ‘Oh, thanks.’ You took back the frog and stuffed it into your pocket. ‘Hey, I don’t think I’ve seen you before. I’m George, you?’
  ‘Oh, I’m Y/N, I’m new here.’
  George’s eyes widened at your accent. He grinned and fiddled with the end of his sleeve. ‘Would you want to come with me and my brother to the Three Broomsticks? It’s got the most amazing butterbeer in England.’
  You smiled at the offer. ‘Sure, why not?’
  You payed the five nuts for the frog. (You ended up getting Dumbledore) And followed George to the place he was talking about. He was ever so funny, cracking you up in no time with jokes. He told you all about Hogwarts and how you would love it there.
  ‘So, which house are you in?’
  ‘Oh, I’m in Gryffindor. ‘
  George looked at you and beamed. ‘That’s my house as well!’
  You two laughed at the coincidence, finally drawing up to the Three broomsticks and going inside. You were met with the strong smell of cinnamon and coffee, and the warm air hit your skin as you went further inside. George led you to a table were a few others were sitting. Another boy who looked identical to George who turned out to be his twin Fred, another boy with red hair who was his brother Ron, a girl named Hermione and a smaller boy named Harry.
  ‘Guys, this is Y/N, their new here. Their from America, AND their in Gryffindor.’
  Everyone said hello, they all seemed so friendly. You sat in between George and Hermione, who asked you tons of questions about America, which you expected might happen at your new school.
  You all ordered Butterbeer, and Fred and George laughed as you chugged the entire mug after the first sip. George elbowed you and smirked. ‘Told you it’s good.’  You rolled you eyes and giggled.
  From that day on, the five of you became inseparable. You always hung out, and before you knew it it was already nearing summer break.
  ‘Ah, summer!’ You sighed as you slumped against a tree in the field you guys were hanging out in, stretching your legs out as you looked up though the green leaves. ‘I’m gonna miss you guys. Welp, at least I’ll see you guys next year.’
  Hermione elbowed Ron, who cleared his throat. “speaking of which, Y/N would you liked to come to the burrow this summer? Everyone does, even if it’s only for a week. Mum takes us to Diagon alley before school so we can get our stuff. It’s always fun, you should come.’
  You thought about it, and it did sound like fun. “sure, i’ll ask my parents, I’m sure they’d like me out of their hair for a bit.’
  George and Fred whooped and you smiled. This should be fun.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  You clutched the backpack on your shoulder and gulped. You had been so excited but now you were so nervous. What if they got sick of you? What if you became a burden?’
  You took a deep breath and stepped into the fireplace after hugging your parents goodbye. You erupted into green flames and in moment you found yourself in a slightly smaller fireplace. You stepped out and immediately recognized the voices of your friends. ‘Oi Fred! Y/N’s here!’
  George called up the stairs to his brother before rushing over to you and wrapping his arms around you. You giggled as he lifted you slightly. ‘Don’t suffocate me Georgie.’ You joked. George put you down and grinned. ‘Missed you.’
  You noticed a faint shade of red start to spread across his face. You didn’t get to think much of it though because of all the people that entered the living room moments later. You hugged Fred, Harry, Ron and Hermione before shaking hands with Mr. Weasley and received an even tighter hug from Mrs. Weasley. You met Percy and Ginny, who both seemed really nice. Percy a bit uptight, but you thought nothing of it.
  ‘You’ll be sharing with Hermione and Ginny, just upstairs dear.’ Mrs. Weasley said, before rushing to the kitchen.     ‘Ok, Thanks Mrs. Weasley!’
  ‘Just call me Molly dear!’
  You smiled and turned to George. ‘Your mum’s really nice.’
  George grinned. ‘Need help with your bag?’
  ‘Nah, I’m good.’
  You followed Hermione and Ginny to Ginny’s room. It was small, but cozy. You put your bag down on your place on the floor.
  ‘Nice room Gin! I really like it.’
  ‘Thanks Y/N’
  The three of you talked until Molly called you down to dinner. You made it official in your head that Molly Weasley had the absolute best cooking ever. The food practically melted in tour mouth, and you stared in awe as the dishes got cleaned by magic, washing themselves. The burrow is honestly the most magical place you have ever seen aside from Hogwarts.
  The summer was amazing, You, George, Fred, Ron, Harry, Hermione and Ginny all going on walks and playing card games and having mini games of quidditch. Soon, it was already time to go to Diagon Alley.
  ‘Hurry up Y/N, we’re just about leaving!’ Hermione said as you grabbed the big cloth bag out of your backpack. You and her hurried downstairs were everyone else was gathered. One by one, everyone erupted into green flames and arrived into the large are known as diagon alley. Shops lined the streets and there were people and children running everywhere. ‘Now children, we meet here in exactly an hour ok?’ Molly said, and everyone nodded. George grabbed hold of your arm and tugged you with him. ‘Seeing as this is your first time here, i volunteer to be your guide.’ You giggled and went with him.
  You two walked and chatted, going in and out of stores. George goggled at how cute you looked when your face lit up at the box of kittens in one of the animal shops. You tugged George inside. Owls were on perches, rats in brass cages running on top of landings and down again, and the faint mewing of cats in the distance.
  ‘Oh George they are so cute, don’t you think so!?” You cooed as you picked up a calico kitten who purred as you stroked it. ‘Your cute.’ George mumbled. ‘You snapped your head around, and he turned a dangerously visible shade of red. You smirked. ‘Your not so bad yourself Weasley.’
  You beamed as be blushed harder. You put down the cat and took his hand, leading him out of the store. You two were about to go back to the meeting place when one store caught your eye. ‘George, I need to go in there. I’ll be right out I promise.’
  ‘Slow down darling I’ll come with you.’
  You entered the store and you gawked in awe at the amount of fabric, thread, and buttons inside. You were practically in heaven.
  You ran your hand down the different fabrics, checking the prices. ‘I didn’t know you were into sewing.’ George said, examining a cotton sheet. ‘Like sewing? Georgie my dear, sewing is my LIFE’. You tugged at the shirt you were wearing, made out of black cotton. ‘I made this last winter.’
  George’s eyes widened. ‘YOU made that? It’s so good!’
  You blushed at his appreciation. You picked a few pieces of fabric and paid, putting them in the bag and you and George exited the shop, meeting with everyone else. ‘Mum! Y/N’s into that sewing thing as well you know?’
  ‘Oh that’s interesting! What sort of stuff do you make?’
  You looked at your shirt and the bag in your bag. ‘I make most of my own clothes, like this shirt I’m wearing.’
  Molly looked amazed and you two gambled off about sewing and knitting and whatnot. George and Fred just laughed, George thought of it as cute though. He already had this itching crush for you from the moment he met you and the fact that you got on so well with his mum just made his heart flutter.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  It was the beginning of term, and you were now sharing a room with Hermione. Your desk was littered with scrap pieces of fabric, and scattered needles. Hermione’s was depressingly neat.
  You were wearing a pin cushion on your arm, trying to fix the hem of your robe because it ripped when somebody knocked on the door. ‘Come in!’
  George entered the room, his hair messed up. He must’ve just got out of quidditch you assumed. When Hermione saw who was at the door, she shut the book she was reading and stood up from her bed. ‘I’m going to go see what Harry and Ron are doing.’
  Once she left, you two were alone. ‘Come in, what’s up?’ You gestured towards the space next to you on your bed. George came over, propping himself up with his arm before pulling his hand away, yelping. ‘What? What’s wrong?”
  Your eyes filled with worry as George examined his hand. He picked up a small pin from the cover and handed it to you. ‘Think this belongs to you.’
  ‘Oh dear sorry, I’m working on my robe you see, it ripped and i was fixing it.’ You put the pin back in the pin cushion and took George’s hand into your own, gently massaging the area of impact.
  George turned a bright shade of pink as your delicate fingers ran over his palm. ‘It’s alright Y/N.’
  ‘So, how was quidditch?’ You asked, resuming your work. George cleared his throat, looking shyer then usual. ‘Uh, practice was good. Speaking of which, I, uh, managed to rip my jersey on the goal post. I was wondering if you could fix it for me?’
  ‘Uh-huh, sure just hand it to me.’
  You were so engrossed in your work you didn’t even realize that George was shirtless in  front of you. You looked up when he handed you his ripped jersey. You examined the area where the rip was. ‘Oh sweetie this can be fixed in two stitches, you-’
  Your eyes gawked at him. When did this boy get to be so fine? You felt yourself go red, before you decided to turn it into a joke so he wouldn’t notice you being embarrassed. ‘Did you find a small hole just you could see me? Hmmm?’ You smirked, thinking you could tease him, until he said his reply:
  ‘Yes that’s exactly what I did.’
 You paused, needle halfway though the fabric. You looked up at him, he tried to cover himself up with his arms, his face bright red. ‘Well, I enjoy your company.’
  ‘Thank you.’
  ‘Also when did you get to be so dang hot?’
  You smirked as you saw him get even redder. ‘T-thanks.’
  ‘Your welcome... there you are, all fixed.’ You handed him the jersey, the hole all patched up. George slid it on, you watched the shirt over his abs. ‘Look in the right sleeve.’
  George turned his right sleeve inside out, only to see a tiny embroidered heart in light pink stitches. ‘Aw, that’s so cute!’  George gushed. You felt pleased.
  ‘Well, I better get going.’ George said, standing up. ‘Awe man, leaving me already?’ You pulled a pouty-face, and you saw the nervousness in his eyes. ‘Of course I’ll stay.’
  You two talked for what seemed like hours, that is until the dinner bell rang. You helped George up, but not before he pressed a small kiss to your cheek. He left without a word after that. You stood there speechless, tracing the area where his lips had been seconds before.
  You turned to your bed and screamed into a pillow. Oh merlin he kissed you!
  The next day you caught him in the hall. Without saying a word, you managed to drag him into a quiet hallway, were nobody else was wandering.
  You pressed him to a wall and kissed him. You were craving the taste of his lips for a while, and now you finally got his. George melted into you, he hitched you up by your legs, you wrapped them around his waist and you tangled your hands into his hair. You two had waited long enough for this, and this was complete and utter euphoria.
  Once he pulled away, he smirked. ‘What is is?’ You asked.
  ‘Oh, let’s just say that I’ve been on pins and needles waiting for this.’
